• NOF’s Nick Underhill reports former Broncos S Justin Simmons is visiting the Saints.

  Simmons was released by the Broncos in a cap-saving move, sending him into free agency in March. The 30-year-old is a two-time Pro Bowler and is coming off a season with 70 tackles and three interceptions. With a deep free agent class at safety this year, Simmons has still been available. The Saints have Tyrann Mathieu leading the secondary and signing Simmons would add another experienced veteran next to him. In a shallow NFC South, the Saints fortifying a veteran defense next to a mediocre offense could give them a chance at the division’s title. Simmons visits New Orleans on Wednesday and his decision may come soon after.

Understands the defense much better his second season( this is the only one with any question )  3 . nickel Cb Nate Hobbs - one best nickel cbs   Decameron Richardson -   What a freak 6’2 1/4 190 4.3 will play a lot 5 B Facyson - big veteran Cb 6.  MJ Devonshire - ball hawk.  First four are locks.   The last two can be beat out .    They have a lot of young big cbs competing for last two spots . 
 

This defense is so deep you will see in the preseason how they dominate all first, second and third string other teams,

Nick Foles retired from the NFL after 11 seasons.

I don’t think you should pass on a prospect you like over a broken leg. If you think Jordan Travis is a bad QB prospect, that’s a valid argument that you very well may be correct about and can be debated. 
 

But passing on a guy over a broken leg seems incredibly short-sighted. Once the Jets signed Taylor to backup Rodgers, no rookie QB was in this year’s plans, anyway. (Unless you are arguing that the broken leg will have long term consequences?)

The only thing last night showed was Jacoby is still Jacoby.  Zappe's lack of arm strength is still apparent.  He had two passes the WR had to slow down to catch.  For all his athleticism, Milton's slow deliberate delivery was a dropped ball away from a pick 6.

Kind of feels like complaining about the 3rd string QB while pining for Joe Milton is a compliment for the Jets.  Either way, 1 year behind isnt that big of a deal when Joe Milton and Jordan Travis are battling it out for the division in '26.
