Are they running stairs also?

im sure there is some context around that statement - really don’t think he means they are tired - or at least I hope not

Said it in his presser (most recent I guess) I just heard the clip on the radio.

The full quote:

"The coaching staff is exhausted, the players are exhausted," Saleh said. "But at the same time, it's the same message. Nobody cares how you get to gameday. Nobody cares about context. They don't care if your dog died. They don't care. The expectation is that you perform, and that's the expectation in this building."

----

I don't love statements like this.  Just feels like preemptive excuse making.

Also mentioned the players are exhausted. Hopefully they can overcome that!

If the players have to play tired so be it. I just hope the coaches are fresh. They don't have much room to step back mentally.

Are you using ChatGPT to help you come up with ludicrous takes on why the Jets, JD, and Saleh are bad?

What was my take Mr hall monitor? I found it odd a coach in week 3 would say he was personally exhausted before the game. Seems like a preemptive excuse. We all have to travel for work sometimes and answer the bell. Saleh gets a lot of time during the offseason to rest.

It's pronounced SEALs and what Saleh was saying is it doesn't matter what is thrown their way they can be hurt, tired, and miserable the mission is at hand, and they have to embrace the suck and nobody will feel sorry for them.

I never understand the whole "3 games in 11 days" argument.  the Pats are about to have their 3rd game in 12 days!  does that ONE day make such a difference?  Everyone who has a Thursday night game, has 3 games in 12 days.....

Are you saying both staffs are exhausted?

I think one day makes enough of a difference that playing on a short week is always considered a disadvantage. Obviously there's only a one game difference for the Pats (which really just speaks to Thursday games being pretty sh*tty for players) but you'd think the league would try to avoid a Thursday game the two weeks after a MNF game. Just seems like common sense for a league that is constantly pretending they care about player safety.

Kinda doing the opposite.

He's saying nobody cares what your excuse is - the expectation is you go out and win.

But let's make something out of nothing. Sure.

To me it reads more like ' Oh woes me'   No one's giving me any leeway even though they know how tough my job is.  People should be more understanding.

That was my takeaway.
