Not once in my life can I recall the Jets playing the same time as a Mets playoff game.
Can't help but get excited for both my teams even though impending doom hangs over both games.

Just missed the Koufax/Drysdale era dominance in those years.

Fun note:  If you scroll down to "Personal Life" on Koufax's Wikipedia page, you'll see a pic of Koufax at the Baseball Writer's Dinner.  My Dad is the guy behind him on the bottom right in glasses, working the event lol.
