So my brother in law did a renovation on an old house that had a lawn jockey.   He took it home. I started to sing Uncle Remus. Know the tune???

No recolletion.  Had to seek it out the reference to lawn jockeys.  Interesting lyrics all around.

I'll take a drive to Beverly Hills Just before dawn And knock the little jockeys Off the rich peoples lawn And before they get up I'll be gone

There ya go. I listened to that when I was pretty young and the first thing that I connected with was Wayne Shorter on soprano. On Bitches Brew too. Tribute To Jack Johnson is a favorite as well. The first side gets all the love but to me it's the second side that is amazing as it builds up.

I never go too long without listening to this. McLaughlin and Santana homage to Coltrane. McLaughlin is awesome

Hadn't listened to IASW or Jack Johnson in a while...man I love these albums

Half way through Yesternow there's a short break with Shhh from IASW and then the album finishes with a funky groove that is just tremendous. One of my favorites from electric Miles especially his playing towards the end
