Watch and listen to the media today. Take notice of how they will boast for Geno. Im starting to believe Jay Zs camp (Genos agent) pays off ESPN and media people to keep pushing for his play.

Why the need for the jayz conspiracy? How about the guy who works for the Jets and drafted him wanting him to play?

Why not a Jayz conspiracy?? How often do you get the opportunity to blame something on Jayz?! it's a clear connection like bigfoot being the cause of crop circles to communicate via NSA controlled satellites and apple mac book airs...

Not so much a conspiracy as human nature. The media WANTS to write happy stories with happy endings. The like narrative, the facts are much less important to them. And further the likes of Serby, Mehta and Cannizarro have no idea what they're watching anyway.

Today Manish Mehta suggests Wrecks is The Man, Right. You could set your watch by this drivel after a win against a crappy team. Simply one barely average offensive effort against a bad West Coast team playing at 1PM eastern is not gonna save him. And the 20,000+ empy seats are eventually going to speak way louder than anything else. As twisted as this is the fans know this team is a dsaster moreso that the media.

Quick question name me an NFL Head Coach that would have those 20,000 seats filled this week with this exact roster that Rex is working with?

Because Rex parachuted into Florham Park in September and--boom--there this roster was.

Reading the Dawidoff book over the weekend-the simple response to Wrecks having no say in personnel and not catering to players at the expense of the team is SCOTTY McKNIGHT in 7-story letters.

He has been here 5 years. This roster is his doing as much as anyone's. So when you complain about "weapons" there is  a 300 pounder in a black sweater vest who had a very big hand in crafting this sh*tbox of a roster.

No John Idzik parachuted in to Florham Park in February, and put together this roster, particularly the the part of it that has a rookie QB, a 2nd year UDFA QB, and a guy who retired, and then came back to collect a paycheck mid season as his 3 QB's, yea all Rex's fault! Not to mention a RB that got suspended for the first 4 games for being a gang banger, and then as usual got injured, another one who can't pass block, and is always hurt, and the only useful 3 down back has no play making abilities, a good reliable back, but not your HR threat who was already here. Some job Idzik did to getting the Jets any WR's in this years draft to, but yea it's all Rex's fault his offense has ZERO talent. And the guy everyone kills Stephen Hill as a bust, Rex had nothing to do with that, and was so pissed about that draft selection who couldn't even pretend to like it when asked about him!

Couple more wins and Rex is all but assured a 2 year extension.  I hope he gets it GO JETS!!!

Rex needs to make the playoffs to save his job.  That requires a miracle to happen, at this point.

Get ready for Darrell Schottenheimer to be our head coach, because it's happening.

I would like a 1 year extension on his existing contract which has 1 year left, keep the flame warm, I think he deserves that 2014, and 2015. Reevaluate then, hopefully for Rex him, and the Idzik clan find a QB, and I believe a nice long extension will come from those extra 2 years!

@ SW--Rex makes the playoffs and he will be a candidate for HC of the year.

@Lupz--If they give him a 1 year ext, they will need to re-ext him at the end of next year to avoid him coaching in the last year of his contract which doesn't happed to HCs.
