Not a fan. CJ Spiller was electric in 2012 and this offensive guru had absolutely zero clue how to use him. They trotted out the carcass of Fred Jackson the past two years, and also haven't developed a consistent receiver.

What do you mean they did not know how to use him. Maybe if he could stay on the field. Robert Woods improved by 50% from his first year as a 2nd rd WR and Watkins is watkins, he will be one of the best soon.

He was playing a bit role when he was on the field, as the distant 1B to Jackson's 1A. Although he was hurt in 2013, he only missed a game, and they failed to scheme to his strengths, constantly running him in between the tackles and never scheming to get his elite speed in space.

They traded up to make Watkins the first receiver off the board in what turned out to be the most illustrious crop of rookie WRs in league history. However, Watkins was the only one to hit the rookie wall. If a redraft were held, Watkins would, at best, be the third receiver taken.

Oh, and don't forget they reached hard on a QB that makes Geno look competent.

@AdamSchefter: New York Jets become favorites to land former Bills HC Doug Marrone, who is from the Bronx.

He did a good job with the Bills and anybody who think otherwise is crazy or have a vendetta.  I like the idea of bringing him here.

How can Schefter say this when we don't even have a GM yet.

@JasonLaCanfora: Marrone will quickly emerge as a HC candidate with the Jets. And if Maccagnan gets that GM job, Marrone's candidacy will only get stronger

@JasonLaCanfora: And with the Jets, Marrone and Maccagnan go way, way back. Maccagnan signed him to be QB of the London Monarchs in 1991. Strong bond there

Think he meant OL.
