Sperm Edwards Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 The problem is that the Jets have no deep passing game whatsoever so the Washington defense is able to shorten up the amount of field they must cover. This is creating gang tackling. This is something many teams are going to do with the Jets with our current QB. I've been plenty critical of our lack of the passing game because of our QB's arm (among other things). And while it's a valid criticism in general, that is not the problem (today). He's pretty good in pass protection but he's a horrible runner. No shiftiness, speed or elusiveness. Watch more football. Well considering you were horribly wrong in the first place id actually recommend you watch more football. Powell isn't a bad backup, solid pass blocker and pretty reliable.
