  1. 1. The jets just let a 37 year old QB gain 65 yards on the ground. What happens next week?

    • Lamar gets 0 - 50 rushing yards
    • Lamar gets 51 - 100 rushing yards
    • Lamar gets 101 - 150 rushing yards
    • Lamar gets 151 - 200 rushing yards
      0
    • Lamar gets 201+ rushing yards

Lots and lots of yards. Thursday’s game will be over by halftime. But it’s OK cause half our team is injured - even if they weren’t it wouldn’t matter. Running QBs kill us.

Also, FYI, Lamar needs just 23 more yards to break Vick’s record for most rushing yards by a QB in a season so looks like the Jets will add another entry into the books as the team a record was broken against. Yay!

That would be more fun for people who root against the Jets.

Some people have a gift. Other people think they have a gift and they reach. It happens unfortunately.

Not sure the Jets have a shot. But expect like most Thursday games it will be a sloppy dog's breakfast for both teams offensively.

We could really use a healthy Jamal for this game

Jamal isn't athletic enough to keep up with Lamar.

I didn't see an option for negative yards, so I didn't vote

It's one thing to root against the Jets, but failure to adhere to the basic standards of proper assessment construction is unacceptable

This is the leagues #1 rush defense, yards will not be easy to come by. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Ravens keep Lamar in the pocket and see what he can do against Canady. You have to keep Lamar healthy if you’re the Ravens - you don’t want to run against these Jets

Lamar will do his thing and make a bunch of plays against this defense.  I hope Sam holds up well against the Raven defense.  I remember that game back in 2011 when Sanchez’s career was basically ended against Baltimore.  He was getting killed and ended up with like a 5 QBR for that game.

Good post. The Bills did a good job of limiting them. They're a decent D overall, but better v pass.

LJ had been limited 2 weeks in a row. Limited passing v SF, limited both run and pass vs Buffalo.

Designed runs not so much, but if Fitz can run from a aborted pass attempt...   insert scared face

the jets can negate jackson's running simply by controlling the ball.  if they can really run the ball and keep it high completion %  passing they may have a chance.  darnold also needs to run a bit more.  he missed 2 first downs because he chose to pass instead of run.

True. I’m not sure any defender actually is. But Jamal is a sure tackler

Jamal won;t be ready for this game, he wants to avoid being embarrassed all the while spouting off on social media how crushed he is to not be playing and how things would have gone different if he could have played.
