@NYJetsVets91 Thank you for taking McIntosh and removing the temptation for taking 3 Dawgs out of 6 picks.

McIntosh is not a great runner, lacks elite vision and patience, not great running between the tackles, much better when challenging the perimeter of the defense.  But where he excels is in the passing game.  Great hands and solid in pass pro.  Numerous big plays on wheel routes the past couple of seasons.  Should be able to contribute immediately as a 3rd down back.  Solid pick at this stage of the draft.

I was going to take him for Buffalo. He’d be a good drop off option for Allen

Interesting.  They already have James Cook, who does everything McIntosh does but at a higher level, and Nyheim Hines is a solid 3rd down back.  I don't see the fit.

Cook will be the main guy there.  He showed a lot of upside nearing the end of the season.  I have to decide whether or not he's a keeper in one of my FF leagues.  So, I'm very interested in how the Bills draft this season re: RB.

My pleasure, that was the thought behind the pick, a guy who can come in and spell Walker on third down and contribute out of the backfield in the passing game.. I thought you might appreciate the pick ?

I thought the same thing but everything I’ve read said they should get another RB even with those two. The fans want a powerback to carry the ball at the end of the game or a more trusting receiving back.

I could see them getting a power back to help during the end of games, halftime and goal line to take the pressure of Allen and to limit him pounding the ball in those situations.

Some of these RB selections ahead of Sean Tucker…

I took McIntosh because I felt like he was a better fit for the Seahawks' system and he excels as a pass catching back. He would be a better 3rd down option behind Walker than Tucker would be. That being said Tucker is obviously the better all around RB, but I needed a specialist.

@heymangold was literally looking at trade value chart to see if I could move up for Rezjohn. Would you trade him for my last 3 picks?

Flabbergasted Rezjohn Wright lasted that long.

I considered him ahead of Reed and was taking him instead of Kirkland.  I hate taking lower ceiling older guys, but the Rams have a pretty big need at IOL.  Something about Reed I just like.  I feel like both of those guys will be contributors wherever they end up, but not expecting studs.  Generally I prefer drafting boom or bust this late, but with so few picks I felt I had to go a little more need.

I had actually picked him much earlier when i was declared the niners gm for a few minutes and made three picks for them but those picks were erased when the niners gm showed up

I sort of get it. No doubt McIntosh in round 5 for the SEA offense as a 3rd down back is actually sweetness.  That's about the right offense and ceiling for him. in real life, this playing out would make sense... Regardless i'm stunned Tucker is still there -- granted he fits better in some offenses, but still. Wow.

LAC gonna steal in the 4th and he'll run for a million

Okay.  What is the deal with Tucker?  I had been considering him with all my picks from the 5th round on, but what is the story with his lack of medical clearance?  He had that weird twitter workout that went pretty well if it is to be believed.  I had hoped everybody had him off their board for it and kept waiting to pull the trigger and @Matt39 went for it.  With so many late picks bunched together it is easy for me to risk waiting on guys another couple of picks - I could have taken him with 167 or 171, but figured I could wait until 177.  When I got to 177, I would probably start thinking I could wait until 182!

Happening everywhere.  I'll bet there is a med report we don't know about.

I've never seen so many skipped picks .

'cause we're not waiting longer than the clock any more.    And no more time spent on consensus picks, which sometimes took a while to get done.

count on this for next year.  Maybe..... we still do consensus for Rds 1 & 2. But after that...  Just don't miss your picks.

AFAIC, this is way better.  No point in Day 3 consensus.  Skipping is the obvious way to keep moving.

I think we know about it.  He was not medically cleared at the combine and still wasn't at his pro day.  He posted that twitter workout and said that he would "be cleared shortly."  Still have not heard anything.  I can appreciate the privacy aspects and that he does not have to share what it is about, but makes it tough to count on him for a mock.  I mean...  how dare he?!?!
