David Harris
This is how legends are made We’ll find out how Sauce stacks with the best of all time, I think he’s up for it.
Jethead
This is like when Q asserted himself about the d-line rotation. Brick listened and D got better. Jets D next year is going to be top 3. 2 1

If your a betting man putting a few clams on Sauce to win DPOY probably not a bad bet.

Bobby816
Good to see this adjustment. It’ll be interesting to se if teams try and test him.

Popular Post JohnnyLV
Obviously such a complex idea that it took 3 years to implement. You have to be at least 8 and mildly interested in football to realize this is the proper move. 2
OtherwiseHappyinLife
A year and a half late but better than never. Still shaking my head that fans are seeing things quicker than Jets coaches. This is an example of optimizing talent and having a plan to take a top 3-5 defense to #1.
OilfieldJet
Correct move, late, but right direction. Just my take, he likely won’t meet/exceed 2009 Revis, but the front line gives him a chance.
OtherwiseHappyinLife
Other things I’d personally like to see 1. More blitzing to keep the O on its heels 2. More man coverage vs. teams that struggle against man. You know, game to game chess 3. Matchup zone with Ashtyn Davis on the TE 4. Rushing 5 with JJ, Reddick and McDonald on the field at the same time. Reddick as a 3rd LB who might drop back from time to time 5. Mosley with the occasional break to keep him fresh and when his athletic limitations make him a liability

SomebodytoAnybody47
I kind of think the whole "traveling" thing was overblown to begin with. It was more so having him in zone over man to man. Either way - the defense works. It's all about trying to score some fn points.
Sonny Werblin
System Coaches are the worst. I guarantee that Saleh fought against this with every fiber of his being.

Dcat
Gee, I'd like to thank whoever was able to crack into Saleh's thick skull. Sheesh... took this long. Good job.
Asymmetrical
Bob's record speaks for itself but one thing he has been good at is tweaking the defense year to year. Defense is going to be good, just a matter of getting literally anything from the offense.

Barry McCockinner
Y'all remember mid season 2021 when ulbrich said he'd make adjustments in the off-season? I didn't think he meant the 2024 off-season.

Meh, he’s a zone guy thru and thru who didn’t hesitate to move to a lot more man coverage with Sauce and Reed - who’s also pretty damn good. He needs to mix it up, though, as man coverage combined with his relentless attack on the QB often makes for wide running lanes for the more mobile ones. FootballLove
I wish we had a WR Chad Johnson in the league. For those who were too young, Chad (#85, Bengals) spent his career abusing DBs. He'd write their name on his locker, then draw a line thru it after abusing him on the field. He was flamboyant. One MNF game, he wore a home-made 'Hall of Fame' coat over his uni. At one point, he legally changed his name from Chad Johnson to Ocho Cinco, which is Spanish for Taco Tuesday,, I think 🤣 He was riding high......until Revis humbled him. Both the reg season and in the playoffs. Revis shutting down Chad Johnson and shutting his yap was a thing of beauty.

I was in miami for the game and mcdaniels put a blocking tight end out wide on sauces side just as a FU. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. So dumb....
