This is how legends are made

We’ll find out how Sauce stacks with the best of all time, I think he’s up for it.

If your a betting man putting a few clams on Sauce to win DPOY probably not a bad bet.

Hawaii ?

He’s going to follow the top WR every week and shut them down like Revis legendary year.

This is big for the defense.

Other things I’d personally like to see

1. More blitzing to keep the O on its heels

2. More man coverage vs. teams that struggle against man.  You know, game to game chess

3. Matchup zone with Ashtyn Davis on the TE

4. Rushing 5 with JJ, Reddick and McDonald on the field at the same time.  Reddick as a 3rd LB who might drop back from time to time

5. Mosley with the occasional break to keep him fresh and when his athletic limitations make him a liability

System Coaches are the worst. I guarantee that Saleh fought against this with every fiber of his being.

Meh, he’s a zone guy thru and thru who didn’t hesitate to move to a lot more man coverage with Sauce and Reed - who’s also pretty damn good. He needs to mix it up, though, as man coverage combined with his relentless attack on the QB often makes for wide running lanes for the more mobile ones.

I wish we had a WR Chad Johnson in the league.

For those who were too young, Chad (#85, Bengals) spent his career abusing DBs. He'd write their name on his locker, then draw a line thru it after abusing him on the field. He was flamboyant. One MNF game, he wore a home-made 'Hall of Fame' coat over his uni.

At one point, he legally changed his name from Chad Johnson to Ocho Cinco, which is Spanish for Taco Tuesday,, I think 🤣

He was riding high......until Revis humbled him. Both the reg season and in the playoffs.

Revis shutting down Chad Johnson and shutting his yap was a thing of beauty.

I kind of think the whole "traveling" thing was overblown to begin with.

It was more so having him in zone over man to man.

Either way - the defense works. It's all about trying to score some fn points.

nah.... I was in miami for the game and mcdaniels put a blocking tight end out wide on sauces side just as a FU.  I couldnt believe what I was seeing.  So dumb....
