Doubt Idzik gets into a bidding war with the Giants. But he might not have to considering the giants don't have that much more money to offer do they??

As long as they manage a low cap hit for this season they are fine. They woud need the cap hit to be around 5 mil i believe to still be ble to get a few filler signings

They are supposed to have around 40 mil in cap next year also they can also cret some space by extending eli or rolle

Supposedly giants arent far off with contract talks. could be working on some resrtuctures/extensions to get it done

Still could see the jets swoop in and offfer a good amount

I really hope not. I hope the Giants get him.

Manish Mehta ‏@MMehtaNYDN 8m

Battle of NY: CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie spent Sat visiting Jets & Sunday visiting Giants. He's going back to Giants tomorrow #nyj #nyg

That is interesting.

Manish is definitely rooting for him to sign with the Giants!

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Browns are "lurking" in the bidding for free agent Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

In Cleveland, DRC could team with Joe Haden to give new coach Mike Pettine one of the league's most talented cornerback tandems. Rodgers-Cromartie will be in New York until Monday, where he's been meeting with the Jets and Giants. Rapoport suggested on Twitter Sunday that the holdup in talks with the Jets is whether owner Woody Johnson will be willing to pony up enough money.

DRC is not the best tackler but He is a very very good cover corner, can play inside and out, and add to that hes got the speed you want in a corner

On the other hand with cleveland jumping into this and the possibility of jets and giants already having a bidding war i dont want to see the giants give up any more than 6-8 mil a year

The NY Daily News' Manish Mehta reports Jets coach Rex Ryan wants to sign free agent Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie "badly."

As Mehta notes, DRC is an "ideal fit" in Ryan's scheme as a press-man cover corner who can chase opposing top receivers. Rodgers-Cromartie's passion for football has long been questioned, but Rex has a knack for getting the most out of his players. DRC would be a huge upgrade on Antonio Cromartie in New York.

As @RapSheet notes, DRC already took physical with Jets. He'll take one with Giants tomorrow. #keepcalmandcarryon

We either get this guy or spend an early draft pick on a cb. Our secondary was putrid.   Would prefer DRC as he would add experience.  Drafting a rookie cb would

be adding too much pressure on the D.  Milliner, for all accounts, is practically a rookie after his injured and horrible start.

The Giants will give free agent Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie a physical on Monday.

Physicals are generally routine on free agent visits, but it sounds like this one could be the precursor to a signing. The Giants have aggressively revamped their secondary, landing Walter Thurmond and Quintin Demps while re-signing Trumaine McBride and Stevie Brown. DRC would be an impact cherry on top.

The eagles and cardinals would debate you on the assessment of his skills
