Before everyone goes off on Carpenter, hopefully nobody lies and says

"when I watched SEA I focused on their guard play".  We all know that's

not true, let's deal with facts:

- Bowles has had to scheme against SEA offense for the past two years

so he knows Carpenter's game

- Maccagnan was a Scouting Director when Carpenter came out of ALA so

he knows Carpenter's game

- Granted Marshawn Lynch is a beast but SEA OLine has something to do

with him being successful.  And on top of that they are a good running

team when they use other RB's

- We were linked to Carpenter by Tony Pauline back on February 21 so

obviously we targeted him - http://www.draftinsider.net/blog/?s=james+carpenter

So I'm going to trust my GM & HC over any fan's opinion or analytic site

Bwahahahahahahaha - that was cute.

Remember when Giacomini was good enough for the SB champs he was good enough for the Jets?

"NO sh*t?!"-Award of the Day goes to Cimini:

Remember in Hard Knocks, when Woody Johnson was all like, "we'll show Revis, this is NY, you dont push us around, we dont need him, he needs us"....and now he's basically on his knees, cupping his balls, tickling the bung hole, begging him to come to NY.

Woody is our own worst enemy. McCagnan and Bowles are soon going to learn what their predecessors learned, that working for Woody is like being Joe Biden's press secretary. No matter how welll you do your job, he will make you look like a fool.

I'm not going to say I'm some film watching junkie, but I was eating cookies last night while watching the replay of the Broncos and Seahawks. I did see Carpenter get beat once, which led to Wilson throwing an INT.

He looked at his best when they were running towards his side.

Joe Benigno. :winking0001:

Anybody know this goofball clown? Sounds like he's got too much time on his hands. Either that or he's smoking some really good sh*t.

4 pm can't get here fast enough.

Agree but why they pick 4p ??  Should be 12p est.  Now I gotta be on my way home and then constantly looking at my phone while my wife wants to talk about "our day".  I just want to follow Jets Nation!!

Manish just tweeted that the Jets will be releasing Harvin today. We all already assumed they would pending Marshal's physical.

That probably means we're retaining Harvin. That guy doesn't know sh*t. On the other hand, I'm glad we're interested in Brian Orakpo. Hopefully we can give him a deal similar to the one we gabe Laron Landry.

Best parts of this thread:

1. People panicking an hour into the "legal tampering period"

2. People panicking more with every news update, nevermind that only about 4-5 teams are popping up in news and the rest are totally dormant (not in news obviously means not doing anything)

3. T0mshane saying talk of people panicking over-shadows actual panicking

4. More panic, trending outrage

5. Outrage about not having signed anyone still, despite it still being "legal tampering period", despite not being able to sign anyone other than your own free agents, despite adding Brandon Marshall and signing David Harris

6. Revis or bust

Keep it up nancies.

I feel like we are in a weird Zuckerberg news feed experiment.
