Yep, exactly.  This is the year to figure it all out with Wilson, one way or another.  Many of the comparisons people are making today to the 09/10 teams seem pretty valid, but this time the Jets cannot once again wait around (or worse yet double down) on one player, particularly at the most important position.

It's not just the Jets, throughout the entire league you see that teams can never have sustained success if they don't find a long-term solution at QB.

Nothing to do now but hope until off season so that’s what I will do

He’s a quack. He sells books about healing yourself by eating apples

Andrew W. Saul was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He entered university at the age of 15. After study at the Australian National University and the Canberra Hospital, he received his Bachelor of Science from SUNY Brockport at age 19. He then did graduate work at the University of Ghana, Legon, West Africa, and also at the Brigham Hospital in Boston. Shortly thereafter, he began lecturing on the history of nutrition research and vitamin therapy, and was in private practice as a consultant for the next 35 years.

He never set foot in medical school

Anyone who gets Covid please god listen to your doctors

He’s No quack.  His protocols are “evidence based”.  Will they work for 100% of population?  Of course not, same as medical doctors.  He cites and gives attribution to ALL who developed the protocols.

Just because someone is not an MD does not mean they can’t know about treatments that might help people that MDs have never learned about.

I’m not personally doling out medical advice, I’m not a doctor.  So yes, anyone who thinks they should see a medical doctor, do so, but I also think anyone who watched that video should give thought to what he has to say.

Well if you can't keep track of who said what, don't be a jerk and criticize a poster for somebody else's statements.

I wasn’t being a jerk, I was posting in a conversation, and quoting you. Ppl are glossing over our QB’s play, including you. It is what it is, but the push back and uproar is disproportionate. I hope he loosens up over the next couple weeks cause I need the as advertised version of Zach for BUF.. the rest of the team is rocking

I tell you there isn't much that surprises me. But we are talking about Zach Wilson and if he should be the QB next year and Covid in here.

I honestly thought I have seen everything.

We should be talking about big things like me deciding to change the thread format from *** to the new Jets wings I implemented.

That is the important stuff.  :)

@T0mShane - hope you are feeling better soon. I had Covid recently and it knocked me back for a few days but I recovered quickly. Watch your pulse ox.

Anyone with pre-existing conditions can get the antibody treatment. Hospitals do it at the E.R. you show a positive Covid test result and if you have one of the qualifying conditions you can get it.  The qualifying list is long but a BMI of over 25 gets you qualifed. A 6 foot male who weighs 208 lbs is over 25 BMI.  They shouldn't use that as a metric, but they do.

Anyhow I took Lauren recently when she got Covid. Her oncologist wanted her to get the infusion. She never got really sick and was feeling better a day or two later.

Well Parasite or Paradigm or whatever your user name is, I was not glossing over the QBs play.  I was trying to tamp down the typical overreaction to his play in this game and every game by those that predicted he would fail when he was drafted and just want to be right in their "evaluation" rather than enjoy the wins we haven't seen in over a decade.  Wilson has played 17 games. He is still developing and we won't know what we have in him until the season is over.

If you are hoping for this team to challenge Buffalo for the division this season and expect a nip and tuck game in week 9, I think that is too much too soon for this team.  Jets fans should be happy with a 7-8 win team this season.  Competing for a playoff spot this season would. be a major accomplishment.  Expecting to beat the Bills in 2022 is likely a pipe dream.  Putting the pressure on Wilson to play well in that game and using it as a litmus test is a little much.  Buffalo is a juggernaut.

You should hope that Wilson progresses this season and falls somewhere in the middle of the pack of NFL QBs by year end.  Putting all the emphasis on that one game makes no sense.  None of this is glossing over anything. This is the normal progression for a young QB.

Hello friends, I apologize for my absence in the thread, watched the game w/ Pops again and his wifi sucks.  I know you missed me.  I think it's important to know, that the only time I havent worn my hat this year, we've lost, we're undefeated with it on.

Parasite feels harsh lol. We're on the same team my brother... We're probably still too unrefined/young to compete with BUF/KC week after week. QB play aside though, our roster is as good, if not better than both. I love what i've seen over the past 3-4 weeks from the team, i just don't trust the QB play yet, i need to see more anticipation in his game. Not perfect, or all the time -- just some signs of life there.

Don't sell us short. It doesn't take years to turn around a team. CIN went from zero to hero in Joe Burrow's second year... The team's ready if Wilson is.

it’s weird, when an infectious disease specialist, hematologist and pulmonologist treated my Covid none of your ideas were mentioned.  Must be a conspiracy?

I never claimed the protocol mentioned was a “cure”, just that there is evidence that supports that getting and having strong circulating levels of these Vitamins and nutrients have led to better outcomes by those infected.

Since this is related to this subject, would you say this person, who has an MD, is a “quack”?  She’s an MD and is disclosing this data.  Would you say this is a “conspiracy theory”?  Because if it’s not, how would you interpret what she says?

The only one glossing over is you, by completely discrediting it. Wilson has 16 career starts and right now is doing his best impression of Ryan Tannehill. Every time the offense/game flow required us to make plays in the passing game he has delivered. Hopefully he evolves in into a full time playmaker over time.

Offering unsolicited advice without knowing someone’s symptoms, overall health and medical history is an immediate disqualification to your opinions and if you don’t get that I don’t know what to tell you. Nurse’s and others were quitting during the pandemic because of patients yelling at them and fighting them over internet miracle cures. You are not only not helping, you are part of the problem. I’d delete your posts if I was a mod here. Zinc toxicity is no joke.

Alright this has gone way off topic and run it's course.

The data doesn't like, the Jets are good.

You must be sleeping into the second half of games if you think he delivers every time he needs to. He has found a way late in games lately - I’ve not discredited that. *hat tip*

anyway. This has run its course. I don’t want to be defending the narrative “Zach is bad”, I want more anticipation in his game before I can move on with him as a player. That’s it.

we’re on to Denver.

I don’t know how any of what you wrote even relates to what I wrote.  All I did was impart some knowledge I have while concurrently disclosing that I am NOT a doctor.  So if that “disqualifies” me, then fine, I was only trying to help someone out.  If they think they can benefit from the knowledge it’s their choice.  If not, it’s their decision also.

You meeting “zinc toxicity”.  Did you get to the part where I wrote to “be very careful with zinc” if you take it, no more than 50 mg per day because more than that actually harmful.

You know who I hoped quit during the pandemic?  The nurses and doctors who snidely referred to one of the drugs they doled out that had disastrous consequences. Do you know what they nicknamed it?

“RunDeathIsNear”…..would you say they should be able to keep their licenses?
