The first time he posted this as a rumor I wondered how many games until Pierce killed Kingsbury.  I guess that when Marv Lewis starts strangling him week 5 it will be a more even matchup based on age.

Retaining Antonio Pierce was a good move as well.

They found that guy Malcolm Koonce who put it all together under Antonio Pierce.    He’s the starter opposite MAXX Crosby and they  were the top duo puttting pressure on the Qb .( fact)    Time to pay him as he has one more year left before he becomes an ufa in 2025. Also Tyree Wilson will be a totally different player next year.      Raiders will get big name Dt in freeagency.  To go with their young Dt’s ( Nesta Jade Silveria , Marquan McCall - run stuffer replaces John Jenkins. Byron Young- third rounder showed nothing. Adam butler is must resigning .    Raiders defense line will be as good as any team defense line.

Again I’m not a big  Justin Field fan but Kliff Kingsbury has good record developing Qbs - Pat Mahomes , Kyle Murray , Baker Mayfield , and was Caleb Williams Qb coach.
 
    With the Raiders weapons , and with Kingsbury I think would give Justin Fields the best option to reach his true potential.       The cost to get him wouldn’t be anywhere what it would cost to get one of the top three qbs( you miss there, and you can set your franchise back for years with all the draft capital you have to give up.       I thought there was good chance Russell Wilson would be an option but i don’t know if at his age if he would be able to fit in Kingsbury system.  
Kingsbury was able to work his magic with Fields, you would have a young Qb to compete with the Patrick Mahomes, and I Justin Herbert in AFC west. 

So do you still want Fields?

Commanders are going to draft a top notch QB.   Raiders were likely not going to be able to get one.   Also he might have used raiders as leverage for a highee contract  from washington if that is where he goes.
