I think it's safe to say that the Namath-era uniform will not be used this season (I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but not with a green helmet variant like 1993/1994). But, it's clearly a popular idea amongst fans, and Woody is prone to making decisions based on fan feedback, so maybe in the next few years? You pose an interesting question, I too thought that the Namath uniforms were featured heavily in that video too. Woody has already said we’ll be doing green and black versions of the legacy white unis, however that doesn’t mean we have to wear a black helmet with the black uniform. Nfl teams are only allowed 2 helmets. The alternate helmet must be paired with the alternate uniform, no mixing and matching. So we couldn’t wear black helmet with green unis. It all depends on the helmet You only get one alternate as far as I know.
