Popular Post doitny Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM trading Reddick back to Philly for Huff would be the stupidest move ever. 1st. he is having a incredible bad year. maybe he would be good again in our system, or maybe JD and Saleh were right and saw something that they knew he wasnt as good as everyone thought. 2nd. the money. we didnt want to pay him that money when he was good, were going to pay it now after hes looked so bad? 3rd. if Huff came back here he would be unhappy because he would go back to being the designated pass rusher. there is no way you can play him vs the run, which btw is our biggest problem. right now we are just fine getting sacks. if they want to trade Reddick back to Philly for the pick we gave them thats fine , do it. but Huff can stay there. right now i believe Reddick would be a cancer to this locker room. these guys want to win, make the playoffs and maybe win a SB. Reddick just cares about money otherwise he would have been here in TC. i dont want him in this locker room talking to these kids and putting it in their heads that this is ok to do to your team because their contracts are coming up real soon and the last thing we need are these kids not showing up to TC next year because they want more money. 11

This. And I think JD is absolutely using this fool as an example of what NOT to do at this point. Tbh worth a distant 3rd to just prevent any future headaches w 5+ big deals on the horizon. So glad JD held his ground. I also think he knew full well this could be a possibility at the time of trade.

Popular Post T0mShane Posted yesterday at 08:12 PM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 08:12 PM Reminds me of the old joke: Guy gets a hot tip on a horse but doesn’t have any cash to bet on it, so he takes his father’s Rolex to the pawn shop. Pawn shop guy says “I’ll give you $200 for it.” Other guy shoots back “What? It’s worth ten times that!” Pawn shop guy: “$200. Take it or leave it.” Guy knows the race is starting in 20 minutes, so he agrees to the $200, runs to the track, makes the bet. The horse wins and the guy walks away with two grand. He stops by the pawn shop on the way home to buy the watch back. Pawn shop guy says “Two grand.” “What the hell?” the other guy says “You gave me $200 for it less than an hour ago!” Pawn shop guy responds, “Sure, but you said it yourself: it‘s worth ten times that.” 1

GangGreened
34 minutes ago, The Voice of Reason said: How does getting a 2026 3rd round pick back help the jets right now So you think rather than getting back what he gave up to rid himself of the headache etc, he will keep Reddick to “penalize” him? The only reason not do it would be hoping that eventually reports, whatever week that is to accrue the season, and contributes down the stretch.
