i'd be fine with it, but it has about the same chance of ever happening as a snowball in hell....

Harvin > Revis

Awesome. Love it. And when we say you're crazy, are you going to show us stats of Percy Harvin dating back to high school?

revis for megatron sounds like a better trade. the best CB for the best WR.

that's like saying the packers would trade Rodgers to us for Sanchez b/c he requested a trade....harvin isn't even close to a top receiver in the league.

lol. This thread was a trick question, cause there is no point in having a good wide receiver, when there is no one to throw it to him.

Harvin is pretty damn good. Guy makes plays.

Not only is there nobody to throw it to him,

There's no line that can block long enough for him to run a route.

Yeah but Rex looks at offense as a necessary evil. No way he trades away his best defensive player for a guy who needs the ball thrown to him to contirbute. LOL

historically players like Revis don't get traded for equal value. Teams don't want to trade star for star. It would be a bevy of picks like the Hershal Walker deal. And despite that one situation where it worked, I think the team getting the picks most of the time is getting screwed. I love draft picks but the statistical chance of them working out as well as Revis are minuscule. it's a lightning strike draft pick, arguably the Jets best pick of the modern era (Namath at #1 was historic for obvious reasons).

How would you feel?

that the Jets are complete idiots and my days following this team would be numbered and that I would get on a plane, fly to NY and punch Tannenbaum right in his face as hard as I possible could and have him fall back like in Crushers video

Harvin was better in HS. (see the records for your lazy ignorant selves).

Harvins was better at UF than Revis was at Pitt. (see the records and championships for your lazy ignorant selves).

Harvin and Revis both left early for the NFL after their Jr seasons and both were 1st round picks.

WR/RB/Return Specialist Harvin was an AP NFL Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowler his 1st season, CB Revis wasn't.

Both are great players for their respective teams, but imoho, even with his minor health and inury problems, Harvin is still the better and/or more valuable player.

As I said, I'd be fine with the trade, but just as ok if they both stay where they are.

But do continue with the personal (ignorant of the facts) attacks, I find them mostly amusing and a pretty good indicator of you own football knowledge, (or mostly the lack of it). :animal0029:

You have a good defense it keeps you in the games- go with D always over offense

And if using that logic, use the QB with the best TD to Turnover Ratio.

Taking care of the ball is CRITICAL for any team that lives on it's defense.
