AFJF
Imagine being excited to hit free agency and one of the only teams to call is the Browns? Davis is limited, but he deserves better than this IMO.

Couldn't continue the success we have had at finding middle linebackers.
Beerfish
Be my guest Browns, go for it. I don't want him back.
SBBound
I would not mind if he came back for backup LB or situational LB $$$ (near minimum salary'ish). He is not awful in all regards
KRL
Hopefully CLE gives him a decent deal so we can get a 5th-6th round compensatory pick in 2017

Ex-Rex
They can have him. Can't cover anyone, and is a mediocre tackler in space. Thought he had better upside.
Scott Dierking
If I were Davis, I would blame Bowles for not naming him a starter for next year, thus elevating his status, and possibly earning the jets a compensation pick
faba
We need to upgrade LB core so let him explore his options just like us
Snell41
Davis reminds me of Victor Hobson. A legend in some fans minds, but not really worthy of playing in the NFL.
Maxman
If the Browns sign him we will have conclusive proof that the Browns don't watch game film.

Jetster
Great, we won't have to see that horrible crucifixion pose. Made me cringe as a fan like that Santonio 1st down ball drop when we were down 21.

RoadFan
Apparently, pass coverage for LBs is the equivalent to fielding for 1st baseman in moneyball. "It does not matter."

We've signed plenty of FAs above minimum salary to offset any FA losses. Fitz signing elsewhere gives us a 3rd. That's a blessing in disguise (not really, it's just a straight out blessing). Possibly a 3rd for Snacks as well so Jets need Demario to sign along with a few other FAs to get a pick or two.

However, the sweeps and the tosses is where I feel like he gets lost. I tend to see him take terrible angles and always end up behind the running back somehow. Hope the Browns sign him. Yes it seems like we need a geometry teacher at our facility because some of our players take horrible angles. Remember Pryor? His rookie year was a disaster. What a turn around though, he was a stud last year.
