Get over yourself. The team is not better off finishing with 7 wins which will merely help this HC and GM buy another year or two.

Besides, there's a difference between rooting for losses and acknowledging the team is better off in the long run with a 3-4 win season than a 7-8 win season.

Teams are never "better off" being losers.

And a Jets fan, more than anyone, should know a higher draft slot =/= future success.

So stop rooting against your own team ffs.  What will be will be.

Going 1-15 is not going to save us.  It's just going to make us a sh*tty loser, again.

The Jets are the victims of bad scheduling, we knew this going in, once we get out of Arizona with a hard-fought loss we'll be set for our 6-1 run against lesser competition.

Lesser competition?

The Jets will be underdogs in all 7 of those games.

The schedule has absolutely nothing to do why the Jets are 1-4.

Oh, so we should be better losers. My bad.

For everyone complaining over us not resigning Ivory ... you might want to check out how he's done in Jax to date. Missed first two games. 31 carries, 75 yards, 2.1 ypc, 1 TD since then.

He was wearing down badly for us last season. The decision to let him go was not based on Fitz, it was based on a guy who was getting to the end of his productive life.

Shows your complete lack of understanding of football to think the Jets will be under dogs in those 7 games. Trolls are meant for bridges not football talk.

Just like the schedule had nothing to do with the Jets being 10-6 last year?

Cant have it both ways

LOL...look at who you're saying this to.

Let me guess people are pining away for Rex in this thread?

As I said before:

You get kicked in the balls for two years every Sunday by a loud mouth,

Then the new quiet guy comes in and you start getting kicked in the head each Sunday.

People want to go back to be kicked in the balls because he it ain't that bad.

The Bills will not make the playoffs, They will rally to win enough games to have a lousy draft picks, they will rally enough for the naive owners to think, yeah, Rex is our guy!  And the Bills will have another two years of Rex thinking he has 'turned the corner'

Rex had gone back to what he believes in.

Running the football and defense. A very good combination when you don't have an elite QB.

Good combination when you are playing sh*tty teams. The Cardinals aren't very good, the Rams and 49ers absolutely suck, and the Pats were playing with Brissett, which should have cost them more than 1 game, but the Pats were playing sh*tty teams too.

This is true.  But if you're a good team, you have to handle your business and steamroll those teams.  That's what they did.

Also, Whaley has done a pretty good job.  His drafts have been pretty good.

Rex is a coach that needs to have talent around him already and brought in via trades and FA to be successful. Not good for a rebuilding team

we have top 10 talent in this league and bottom 5 coaching.  we'd be contenders w/ rex right now.

Yea, Whaley will be the first to tell you that.

They are an okay team, with an okay coach in a league full of very poorly assembled, coached and run teams. They should be doing well. We should also be doing well, frankly.

This league is softer than baby poo right now. Playoff runs should be there for the taking, IF you can avoid beating yourself... because other teams don't exactly have it together enough to exert their will. Other than the Pats.

It's a league full of 7-9 teams, which means those that shoot themselves in the foot do worse, and those that get lucky do better. Skill level in the NFL is not nearly what it used to be.

Nobody is saying they want rex back.  The only thing being said is that many feel bowles is a bust and we be better off with rex.

As for the #1pick and losing out the season........ Well if you are like me and feel that bowles absolutely sucks then yes losing out will speed up the new coach possibility and having the number 1 pick would really help this team. Remember kts the first pick of each round.  Thats powerful.

There is no shame in hoping to lose out if you feel the way i do.  In fact,  it is by far the most logical route to go. All this nonsense about being a bad fan is just girly talk.  None of us are getting any younger
