Steve Young did say that they thought that the Jets were too conservative in evaluations to select Wilson and that we would just take Fields. Seems like they miscalculated,

It was in the BYU TV interview. He also 100% confirmed the Jets are taking Wilson and hinted pretty hard he is even involved with Knapp in planning the offense for Wilson,

Interesting. It just seems odd given the Jets have seemingly telegraphed that Wilson is their guy for awhile.

If I were the Packers, I’d do this trade. Rodgers has maybe 2 years left. Cash in when his value is the highest.
