We have Worst coaching staff in the NFL

Right now I can’t argue .  I give LeFluer a little of a break because a lot of his OL is injured or playing out of position,  he has a 37 year old backup playing who literally can’t move.  Now that doesn’t excuse his play calling but it makes it difficult.  Plus I give him credit for admitting he was basically an idiot for not playing GW much in the first game and correcting that.  However the defensive coaching had been atrocious. They are pretty much fully healthy and have talent to work with.  There is no reason they are having this much trouble getting pressure, making dumb penalties, bad tackling, etc.  that’s completely on Saleh and Ulbrich

With an inept offense due to a 37 year old tree playing QB both sides of the ball will suffer. You can't expect a defense to stay fresh when you either can't sustain drives or score TD's. With that being said and probably true for the first 2 games it was not true yesterday. The Defense got beat right off the bat yesterday and the offense stalled on every drive.

This coaching staff is terrible Robert Saleh's positive vibes in the face of terrible play will get old just like Rex Ryan's bravado did 10 years ago.

The biggest mistake was playing Joe Flacco over Mike White. Even if you don't think Mike White can be the guy he runs this offense way better than Flacco and its not even close. Yesterday I actually saw Flacco already in shotgun position refer to his arm band which means he didn't even know the ******* play he called in the huddle. He is slow, He has zero awareness in the pocket and constantly air mails balls on third down. That 40 yard throw on 4th and 5 was so stupid with guys open underneath it was beyond belief, that's something you do with a lead not when you really need a score to have some chance in the game.

Lets all give Flacco credit for a 1:55 minute revelation that may never happen again since the Browns were sleepwalking through that last 2 minutes. That portion of the game was all on the Browns not great play by a washed up QB basically playing catch because the Browns thought they had the game won.

Yes this is all on Saleh IMHO he's the guy who makes the decisions and playing Flacco is inexcusable. The constant breakdowns and broken plays are also on him and his staff and at this stage in year 2 of the program its going to get old fast.

Wrote all this but come on Saleh didn’t hire his self

We talk about the coaching because no one wants to talk about Zach being the biggest bust since Ryan leaf

We talk about the coaching, because we don’t improve, we get excuses, other teams get by with poorer rosters, we got ourselves a nice players coach, who is soft, and runs practices like summer camp… Who has he out-coached? A good coach would get us to at least middle of the pack to start…

a little premature?  Let's let him finish his second season before we make that type of comparison.  Leaf's failures were not just on the field.  He imploded off the field as well.  Zach will either make a leap or not this year.

It's not a perfect comparison but they were both #2 picks with terrible flaws and were both overdrafted

The concerns about Zach's durability have come to pass. He's a nice guy and an accomplished milf hunter but he's not built for life in the league.

Good coaches cost money. Woodrow prefers entry level candidates that learn on the job.

The idea that the Jets have this great roster is a brilliant piece of propaganda

The roster eats ass. It's better than last year but that doesn't mean it's any good.

At least Leaf had the cocaine and destructive lifestyle to blame.

There are no teams with poorer rosters

Every win this Jets team has experienced in the past 3 years they stole

Saleh is terrible but people on here hilariously overrate the talent on this roster. The players are bad in so many important areas.

I don’t think we overrate the talent here.  I think we’re so accustomed to having inferior talent at every position we overrate talent on other teams when very often it’s average or below.

the simple premise of the nfl is that the better qb usually wins, so the jets probably weren’t beating burrow.  Most games this is how it works.  The problem with the jets is that they don’t just lose, they look horrible and confused doing it.  Defensive breakdowns, poor tackling, missed assignments, brutal LT play.  They play the most immobile qb and have him stand there and keep getting strip sacked.  It’s clear the head coach is over his head and is afraid to make any decision that may cause him to be unpopular.

The next problem the jets are going to have is that zack wilson is going to be rusty, he hasn’t played in a while.  And the LT position is a disaster.  So wilson is going to get hit and hit and hit.

This OL is going to get Wilson killed. Not sure how much better it's going to get with Brown coming back, but it can't be much worse. I like that JD went up to get his guys, but he used to much draft capitol on players that won't make much difference if you can't block the defense.

The Saints actually had a damn good over all team that year. Not sure this is the best example. Also Payton wasted no time getting the hell outta there after Brees Retired.

Too bad they didn't go 17-0 in 21

- Flacco needs to be benched. His best days were 10 years ago.

= Give Mike White a shot until ZW gets back. Why not?

- This OL is going to get ZW put on the IR by mid-season. Bank on it. They're a dumpster fire.

- This OL is so bad we can't get a run game going at all, despite two very good RBs. See dumpster fire above.

- Saleh needs to start showing some passion. I don't mean the Bobby Knight Game Face, I mean passion that transfers to his players.

People often move the goalposts online but you’ve hidden them. I don’t understand your new position now that I’ve shown Peyton was wildly successful even without Brees.
