I'm not saying he deserves to be an NFL HC. He sucked. But he played a significant role in turning this franchise around all the same. His tenure was like Richard Nixon's presidency. He also drafted a stud S who netted us multiple first round picks. Do not put his name anywhere near the worst HC in team history. After that it looked like a clown show with players running into each other. I don't fault Gase as much as some on here, he had his positives. But he was too cerebral at times. Plus he never had the raw player talent to pull off his vision of a well-oiled offense. On his negative side, his personality was really bad. He didn't even go into the locker room at half time with a rah-rah speech....he left half time adjustments up to his coordinators. Images of him sitting all alone on the bench during the game, flipping thru his play sheets said a lot. No players wanted to stand near him. Saleh is probably the polar opposite. All rah-rah with little to no clue what the nuances on the offensive side of the ball are (thank god for LeFleur). I think if Saleh was our play caller we'd be 0-6 this year.
