It's still a lottery to draft a QB, no matter what.  How do you know if Richardson is Newton/Allen or Jamarcus Russell?  You don't, so you take a shot it's the former because if it hits, you're a playoff contender for a decade.  The Colts tried the build the team and add a vet QB  (Rivers, Wentz, Ryan) for three seasons and it didn't work.

I think so. But similar thought. Just find great players. That’s the bottom line. If the Jets run into a future problem where they have so much great talent they can’t afford it all, I’ll take that!
