After the great job he did here, it's no surprise that he is in big demand.

The entire NFL understands that Zach Wilson was an anchor for every offensive coach he's been attached to.

That's why quality orgs keep poaching them against all logic or reason.

How long did it take MLF to get a quality gig despite his supposed awful job "developing" Zach?  27 minutes?

So milfy is reassembling the band?  Maybe Zach does wind up there.

No, the opposite.  The Rams are the life raft arriving to save anyone associated with the Jets passing game 2021-present in order to get them away from Zach Wilson.

Zach, meanwhile, is the living embodiment of the island in Cast Away.  MLF is Tom Hanks.  Garrett Wilson is "Wilson".

There may be some logic to this post, I think!?

He seemed like an intern his whole time here.

He is very young.  He is the coach that the Broncos almost started at QB during the covid year before the league vetoed it.  He is a "bright football mind" that I do not think had a particularly well defined role at first and they were all excited to have on board.  Probably wasn't ready to be the actual QB coach and probably suffered from the loss of Knapp as much as anybody.

Plus Zach Wilson swallows coaches souls.

This is a funny off season.  Alot of coaches on the hot seat.  Several apparent vacancies.   Alot of coaching talent in their living rooms.

The Jets are entering this offseason with a pretty thing coaching staff/front office.

Hmmm.

Yeah because they did such an outstanding job with the offense and the young QB.

This take is silly.

So why is a vastly superior org hiring him for the same exact job he had here?  1 year removed from hiring our previous OC to the same exact job he had here?

Your take is silly.

MLF fetches a great cup of coffee. GTFOH with this nonsense.

Welp I guess that youtuber knew what he was talking about.

Is this a loss? None of the QBs performed well during his tenure as QB coach. The Broncos offense wasn't great during his time as their QC coach. Seems like an opportunity to slide Hackett into a QB coach/offensive assistant and bring in a real OC to run the offense.

Jake Ellenbogen of Downtown Rams is reporting that Jets quarterbacks coach Rob Calabrese is expected to leave the Jets to join the Los Angeles Rams coaching staff. The specifics of Calabrese's new role are unknown, but the Rams do not currently have a pass game coordinator under contract.

Calabrese hasn't garnered the best reputation during his time with the Jets. The Long Island native was entrusted with overseeing the development of Zach Wilson despite his overall lack of experience. The results speak for themselves.

So its NOT for the same role, and my take is that he did a sh*tty job as the results have shown so good bye and don't let the door hit you......

Because MLF is a family friend and McVay is the actual OC?  Makes all the game calls, the thing MLF sucks at

And if LA s a vastly superior org, why did they have to replace four offensive assistants who left this year?

Silly takes in the lead
