Reddick getting sued by former business partner…

But when Khan asked for his share of the proceeds during a post-sale confab, he was allegedly physically threatened by Matthews “purportedly at the behest of Mr. Reddick,” the suit says.

“Mr. Matthews brought over more than a dozen black-gloved men to a business meeting, claiming they were ‘Haason’s personal security,'” Khan said in court papers. “It was at this post-sale meeting that Mr. Matthews made it clear [they] intended to breach their payment obligations to Kingdom.

Did Joe Douglas do any research before trading for this boob

On the one hand this could all be part of an orchestrated character assassination of Hassan Reddick or he might actually be a lowlife scumbag in addition to being terminally stupid.

You can decide which

I firmly believe that JD did not do the due dilligence required for this job. There were reasons why Philly didn't want to extend him.  There were reasons why he has moved around and nobody wanted him.  JD did not do his homework.

The Jets have always been lazy in this regard, no matter who the GM is.  It's high time we get a front office that does it's research in a professional manner and does so consistently.  We are lucky if JD does anything it seems.

Starting to believe that he should be replaced.  The Reddick thing was an obvious red flag and JD totally ignored it.  For what reason, I do not know?  But this was a bad one for him.

I’ll ask it again. What does Joe Douglas actually do?

Certainly does not make the effort to do a full due diligence on almost anything.  Throughout its history, the New York Jets front offices have always been lazy, sloppy, negligent or worse.  It's NO DIFFERENT under JD. Sadly.

If Reddick shows up, he can pay his partner back in a game and a half.

The man is really one of the stupidest humans in the NFL.

The pretzel-breaker man that traded for him is pretty stupid too.

Really doesn’t make any sense. Everyone knew he wanted a new deal. And now the baggage which would have been obvious with asking a few questions around the league.

Wow just wow

He can afford to cough up 18+ M in lost salary and fines, but couldn’t honor a 1.75M obligation to a guy who saved his company?

And what kind of person buys a company in an industry they have no clue about?

Reddick seems like not a smart guy (shocker) and not exactly honorable either if story is true.

It's been mentioned the past month or so, maybe even here, that his father is the one driving this whole contract holdout.  Obviously, still Haason's ultimate decision

Reddick bought Haven Home Health Agency in 2018, but leaned on his dad, Raymond Matthews, and Matthews’ ex-wife Tia Wright, to run the business. By 2021 it was “failing,” Micah Khan contended in a lawsuit.

After three years, “Kingdom’s efforts paid off” when Haven agreed to sell the company in April to MNH Pa. Home Care Acquisitions for $3.25 million, the court docs stated.

But when Khan asked for his share of the proceeds during a post-sale confab, he was allegedly physically threatened by Matthews “purportedly at the behest of Mr. Reddick,” the suit says.

He had one good draft that allowed him to stand out. That draft is not looking that potent any longer. He’s completely F’ed up the quarterback spot. He can’t get the offensive line together in five years and all he does is take risks on injured or compromised players with one year deals. Most of them really haven’t worked out. DJ read was a great signing. Other than that, Douglas hasn’t earned an extension at all. He should’ve been fired along with Saleh.
