Haven't you been on about how good Rodgers has been posting his passer rating and whatnot? Changed your tune?

Did I mention Rodgers' passer rating recently?  Or ever?

Lebron James says otherwise

He meant undefeated vs the Jets - ie Boomer, Ronnie Lott, Brett Favre, Steve Atwater, Eric Green, Art Monk, Dalvin Cook, Matt Forte, Derick Mason, Chris Johnson, etc

Ahhh yea, let’s blame yet another qb, this team is the worst coached team the jets have had since kotite.  The coordinators that Saleh hired are complete dog sh*t.

Both can be true and both are true.

Rodgers can still throw the football, but with the injuries mounting and no mobility he's a sitting duck back there.

He’s OK enough to win but I don’t know if I’d call his year above average, which was what we were hoping to get. The folks who thought we were going to get MVP Rodgers were always crazy.

Following the Pats game where he started to get lit up, Rodgers has clearly had a bunch of nagging injuries. At this point it looks like he’ll walk next year and the Jets will try to re-tool the team

Rodgers has very little to do with the Jets failures this year, really. Its coaching/ownership.

He has nothing to do with the Packers either and they have been winning since dumping him.

Coaching is issue number 1.

The next might be figuring out whether or not some of these players care.

The next GM will be starting with a very good group.  Now does he trade the talent for picks or keep them around?

We'll see.

exactly. this version of Rodgers would have won us three super bowls during the Herm Edwards era if you replace Pennington with Rodgers. As soon as the offense gets going to some degree the defense craps out. The special teams go from being top in the league or close to the worst, overnight. All of these things compounded by ownership and FO crippling interference, firing coaches mid-season, bungling trades and making the wrong changes at the wrong time, too late or ill-advised.

Exactly. Totally undisciplined, and JD did them no favors over the years. This team is mediocre and has been for years. They suck at drafting, they suck at hiring coaches/GM's, they suck at making trades, they suck at signing FA's, they just plain SUCK at all elements of a football operation.  .

Good head coaches are really important. Look at the Broncos. Most people thought they were bottom tier talent wise, a good coach changes everything

we will come to see this as the desperate, flailing end of the JD era and the last gasps of the flaming psyop of this all-in all we need is a QB for my championship defense coverup. Rodgers promised things to Jets fans which is the cruel but necessary part.
