You called me a bandwagoner. I am a Jets fan. Surely you see the two do not go together. We've had this discussion before where I've more than successfully defended my stance, and this is still all you can come up with.

And you have still yet to admit how wrong you are on Okajima.

I'll be waiting.

You are from New York, which is why you aren't a bandwagoner on the Jets, besides the point that they suck, there is no one in their right mind that would bandwagon on them anyway.

You root for a team from Boston, and Pittsburgh. If you're from New York, and your a Jets fan, you should be rooting for the Mets, and probably Rangers or Islanders. You obviously bandwagon on those 2 teams.

Also, the fact that you think Okajima is any good is laughable, that is the first time I have ever seen him do well against the Yankees.

This team needs to wake up. Front office, coaching staff and players.

I'm tired of this team playing like crap at the beginning of year every year. As we found out last year, you can't dig your way out all the time.

Boston is not much better than the Yankees, but they dig in and fight all the time. The Yankees don't. Sometimes they just seem to be going through the motions.

Let's hope they wake up before it's too late to make a run.

My only point is in this case that we don't know the circumstances of M39's story. How many times have you seen a fan acting up, being escorted out, acting completely outraged and righteous, and you know he went home and blamed the mean security guard for whatever happened.

I'm not saying that's what happened here. But maybe something similar did. Or didn't. That's the point. Each instance is exactly that. An isolated incident from the perspective of one person.

Just because M39 has one bad experience, doesn't mean the whole place needs and overhaul and retraining of the staff and security. Not for nothing, but try being a sports stadium security guard anywhere in this country. Deal with the drunk idiots all over and see how you feel about it.

To make a total decision on the new place based on one incident is silly. Just as silly as judging Teixeira as a failure based on four weeks of work, 3 of which he spent playing injured.

Overall, I've had nothing but good experiences so far. Some of the best I've ever had at any stadium. Many others agree. I love the new Stadium.

You can shut up now...

Who are you? The fan police? You're going to tell us who we should be rooting for? Maybe I became a Red Sox fan because there are plenty of Yankee fans that I didn't want to be associated with.

Some of you Yankee fans are so arrogant.

And before any of you get your panties in a bunch. Yes, I realize that there are douchebag arrogant Sox fans too. I'm not arrogant.

Hey Official Team Allegiance Police.

Hell, I was born & raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan - Packers Country and have been a NY Jets fan since the first millisecond I knew what pro football was. Growing up, watching games with my dad, from NJ.

That makes me a bandwagon fan eh? I had my choice of teams, and I picked the Jets. What's jumping on that bandwagon gotten me? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zip.

Shut the hell up already. The bickering in this thread is beyond pathetic. You're giving a bad name to plenty of good Yankee fans.

I think the rainout screwed us now. If there was a game today, and Phil Hughes pitched today, and Joba for game 1, and Burnett for game 2, we would obviously win both games for revenge since it's in the Stadium. Now, I am thinking a split will happen, us winning game 2.

So much for the revenge theory

Rule #1: Never side with a journalist who makes it clear that he has a problem with what he's reporting about.

Im siding with the journalist who has went through the same type of experience.

Fan police...watch out.

That article is a piece of crap. She's upset because she wants access to a part of the ballpark she isnt supposed to be in and the Yankees dont want their employees talking to the media because they dont want them talking for the team.

Sounds like the rest of society today. Bitch and whine and moan because your ass isnt the one being kissed.

Get used to it.

The ticket fiasco thing seeing it is their policy....meh. There are probably a few things they can do to let people back in. Stamping the hand or whatever. When they saw people leaving they should have been announcing the game has bot been canceled and if you leave, you cannot get back. No more the a CYA.

The issue I have with the article, if true, is denying access to the guard rails to kids seeking autographs. What type of crap is that? Shutdown 30 or 60 minutes before game time, but that is part of going to the game experience.

Yankees are such are $hitty run franchise.

If I was a rich corporate dooshie and saw the rain. I would have given the tickets to one of my underlings and then used it as a tax write off for 10x the value.

If I were said dooshie, I would demand that the Yankees put up an electrical fence to keep the poor folks out. Especially with the price I am paying.

The clutch hitting has been a problem way before Girardi

Agreed. And I understand what Girardi is doing with trying to mix and match but you HAVE TO let guys who are hot stay in. If you keep bringing a guy in who is sucking to continually get thrashed in close games that's going to destroy his confidence more then staying on the bench. I understand the idea of protecting some arms in the pen but it seems it's almost coming at the cost of trying to win games.

The hitting just drives me nuts. What does Kevin Long teach these guys? It feels like 3 years ago we'd make every pitcher work. Now it feels like to me the second we have one man with one out we're not scoring that run.

I honestly dont have a clue on why these guys struggle so much with RISP.

Maybe this year will be a wake-up call that the franchise does need fans. Not every fan is gonna take a big fat dook right in the face and smile about it. My hope is that they just change up the policies and the problems that fans bring up rather then blatantly ignore it.

I hear Met fans griping about it, are they worse then the Yanks? I don't get it to be honest, I know some people tell fans to calm down but is it possible that there are demons floating around that clubhouse? The fact they know that they are getting owned by the Sox, that they can't push runners across in a timely fashion, and that the bullpen can't keep it close?

There used to be a sense of invincibility, that is long gone IMO. Just feels like more then anything this team relies on the long ball.

The Yankees let other teams push them around. It started after Zimmer left. He was the heart of that coaching staff. After him the pitchers stopped protecting the hitters after the other team drilled them. Teams start sh#t with the Yankees all the time now and what do the Yankees do in return?? NOTHING.

Seems like nothing but its everything thats wrong with the Yankees.
