JustInFudge
They wont sign Fitz for that money but they'll go trade for Bradford and hand him that contract??? WTF???
Bruce Harper
He just signed a mega-deal. The Jets would have to pay him. No thanks.
Rangers9
I think he's pretty good and could run Gailey's offense. But isn't his 2016 contract prohibitive. I've touted Fitz but he'd be an upgrade.
Jetsfan80
The lone reason anyone gives value to Bradford is he'd a former # 1 pick. There's absolutely zero football reasons to suggest he's worth the money he's paid or worth trading for. He's a backup.
rillo
Why? Maybe the eagles want tunsil or Elliot. Having Mr glass back there with a questionable O-line is disastrous
cant wait
I think the Eagles want to keep Bradford, just because they are taking wentz doesn't mean they want to start him right away. They aren't going to give him away right now
#bman
Bradford is NOT good and is always hurt. I'd rather start Petty.

Now which Qb are they moving in a trade , as that is too much money tied up in that position.

Bleedin Green
Offer a conditional 7th round draft pick... the condition being if the Jets win the Super Bowl with Bradford starting at QB. He would also need to agree to a massive pay cut with no guarantees in the contract. But yeah, as long as everyone agrees to those terms, it might possibly be worth considering. UnitedWhofans
Ian RapoportVerified account@RapSheet The #Eagles aren't trading Sam Bradford. Instead, they created a situation where their rookie QB doesn't have to play for a year (or two). Good strategy in Philadelphia. Fans will be calling for him quickly

Beerfish
Jets refuse to pay their incumbent starter 8 mill a year, thus trade for a guy who is not much better making double that amount.....makes sense!

Come on Bradford has a career 23-37 record and has 1 16 game season when he had 21 tds and 12 picks. Sanchez has a 37-35 record and a season best of 26 tds and 18 picks..Sanchez has 13 rushing tds to just 2 for Bradford.. So Bradford is vastly superior?? BurnleyJet
Made of Glass never really impressed me, if you have a franchise QB would you trade him? He's Matty Ice light, no thank you! At this point I'd draft Hogan later, trade down a few spots in the first, then later trade with Tampa for Super Mike.
