Pass rush looks incredible. Carter only thing worth noting on offense. Hoping we see Brownlee make some plays

This defensive line is going to be an absolute monster on passing downs, and barring injury we are going to be fresh in every 4th quarter.  I really dont know what team out there besides the Eagles can put out a group of edge rushers as good as JJ, Huff, McDonald and Lawson.  That is an insanely deep and talented group.

Then you add in QW who is elite along with JFM along with Quinton Jefferson and Clemons - just ridiculous.

BUT WE SHOULDA DRAFTED THE SLOT RECEIVER

News: 2 days agoSmith-Njigba caught three of four targets for 25 yards in Thursday's 24-13 preseason win over the Vikings.

Spin: Smith-Njigba was the only Seahawk with more than two targets in the first half and finished tied for the team lead in that category, as Seattle made a concerted effort to get the 2023 first-round pick involved while he was in the game. Most importantly, Smith-Njigba is healthy after a hamstring injury limited him to just three appearances in his final season at Ohio State. He projects to occupy the slot role while DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett (undisclosed) start on the outside in the regular season. Smith-Njigba should continue to be a featured option out of the slot in Seattle's next preseason game against the Cowboys on Aug. 19.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Smith-Njigba was selected in the first round of April's draft. The Ohio State product broke out with a 95-1,606-9 receiving line (23% target share) in 2021, but injuries limited him to five catches in three games in 2022. His collegiate efficiency was excellent, as he posted one of the top marks in this rookie WR class in YPT (12.6), YPRR (3.40) and catch rate (81%) while working primarily in the short area (8.9 aDOT). Smith-Njigba is more quick than fast (he posted the best three-cone and short shuttle at April's combine) and will do his damage as a possession, slot receiver (81% slot at OSU). That makes him a perfect fit between DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in Seattle, though it will limit his short-term fantasy upside. Stash him on your bench, as he'll be on the WR3/flex radar if one of those two misses time.

If you throw 3 yard passes 95% of the time teams just start sitting on your WRs, even with pass rush risk we need to call more down the field plays to back off the secondary

Preseason play calling complaints?  Really?  lol.

How about execute the vanilla plays against vanilla 3rd team defenses.

Yeboah was wide open in the middle

It’s as if ZW predetermines his throws

He clearly is still battling the issue of getting rid of the ball fast and going through his progressions. Can’t seem to find a way to do it. Should get better every day. He’s not turning the ball over and just lobbing the ball up like we’ve seen. You could argue that Hardman should’ve caught that long ball to the EZ

Our O line is scary bad so far this preseason; I sure hope the gel and get much better especially in pass protection.

The good news is that if they continue to play like this - they will save us a 1st round pick cause Rodgers will not get his snaps - and you won't have to worry about ZW as he won't last the season against some of the great Ds we will be playing.
