Too be honest this is smart football by teams like the Eagles and the Cowboys picking up formerly high end prospects for pennies on the dollar. At worst the guy might sit for a year or more look good and become an asset. Douglas is too busy chasing our 12th dlineman to be actually trying to trade wilson, instead just telling the agent to look for a trade. JD still has a relationship with Roseman after the time he spent working and learning from him. I’m sure when the Jets made the decision that they are getting rid of Zach that the Eagles would have been just about the first call. The reality is, Wilson has been so horrible that he is probably close to impossible to trade, and Roseman more than likely told him that. Hence, letting the agent try, hoping that he may find a partner. The fact that a bum like Picket had a decent market when he sounds like just a much of a pampered brat like Zach tells you all you need to know about how bad he is perceived to be in the league. .
