I am rarely anti-coach but Saleh has proven time and time again he can’t get teams ready

The defense is still plenty good. It’s strange to complain about the defense when they let up 10 pts and 60 yards passing.

Doesn’t mean that the Reddick stuff was okay. It’s still a mess but it’s not franchise ending or a tragedy.

Never said they suck but what I said was that he made some blunders which is a fact.  Huff I could understand. Trading JFM fir a box of cookies was bad. The Reddick situation is a world class **** up

Saleh seems more concerned with being buddies with the players

They had a great week of practice. And good vibes in the locker room. Bob said so. And Baltusrol Bob has 18 holes lined up tomorrow, so all good. We'll get'em next week. Yeah, team! Fore!

At this point it's beyond clear he's terrible. With a 40 year old HoF QB, it's win now and there's only 13 games left. How many more games do we have to see with a team that looks like a collection of strangers in a subway car at rush hour?

10 days to play a bad team at home and you get beat.  Just an awful, awful performance.

Games like this happen in the NFL but they happen all the time to Saleh.  Undisciplined, underperforming garbage.

I’d honestly fire him tomorrow.  There is nothing that will change.  Too many times to think he will magically get it together.  Fire him and Hackett and see what kind of spark it can bring.

There is absolutely no rebuttal that can justify keeping Salah and Hackett on this team a minute longer.  Time for a change.

**** saleh and this team. We raced to the stadium after my son’s game this morning and got stuck in the worst traffic I’ve ever seen to get in. Now stuck in insane traffic trying to get out of here after the most pathetic game I’ve seen in forever   And considering this franchise that says a lot

Were just cannon fodder to Woody.

The JFM trade sucked and the Reddick stuff sucks but the defense is top 5-10 instead of top 1-3 which is fine but hardly a big deal. The bigger deal is how sh*t the team is after long breaks and bye weeks.

This team has talent. This team is not in cap help or near cap hell. The team has young talent at key positions. How is it practical to move away from JD other than his refusal to fire Saleh after last season?

No it doesn't have talent, and yes it is in cap hell.

The team has over $50M in dead cap space on the books right now.  Highlighted by all-stars like Laken Tomlison, CJ Uzomah, and all-time draft bust Zach Wilson.  And lest we forget, the Jets are on the books for $9M for JFM to start for today's opposition, just so they could have the honor of trading a 3rd for another team's hold-out.  The mess created by JD's repeated past failures is exactly why the team is dependent on taking other team's trash and trying to pretend they are treasures.

The O is a total train wreck, highlighted by the OL being an issue for the same reasons it has been for 6 years running, a slew of injury prone players mixed between washed up has-beens and career JAGs.  The D on the other hand has now shown to have several players actually do worse outside of the Jets than they do with them, which as ridiculous as this is for us to even think, would suggest there's poor talent being coached up on that side of the ball.

It's been a laundry list of excuses of why it supposedly isn't the fault of the top guy's job that the same exact things happen every single year he's been here, regardless of the coaches.  Yet some simply buy in on recognizing names of guys JD pays top dollar for, that the rest of the NFL no longer wants anything to do with them, and then acting as if he's not at fault when it all fails again.

He shouldn’t be allowed on the grounds at Baltusrol. He’s more for Hackensack municipal.

Once again not putting everything on the defense but that’s the strength of this team and when they play better team if they’re in the hunt it’s going to be harder.  Yes I agree the lack of discipline adjustments and accountability hurts us

The winning QB's stats (on the road against a team with 10 days rest).

With a serious team, would be a firable offense. A clean out your office now and GTFO type firing.

Pure genius.......something every fan could see from week 1.   But he doesnt want to step on Breece's d__k.  Afraid of hurting feelings and being liked instead of making decisions to win the games.

That’s the issue. No adjustments and is way to buddy buddy with players except rookies

Roster for this season is baked into the cake. Other than moving Reddick, there's isn't much else. The Douglas discussion is not really an issue until January.

So the question becomes is has Johnson seen enough suck to make a move to Ulbrich or Gruden or somebody else. Or is he gonna let this sheetshow unspool with this loser Saleh? It's a win right f___in' now team. And spare the Pats, the team has looked like garbage juice to start the 3 other games. He's always been patient but don't think patience solves anything. FIRE THIS CLOWN NOW.

This team has never made midseason moves, so that will not suddenly begin now.  Regardless of whether anyone feels it should, we have to know that thinking even for a second that it will is delusional.  Everything will be happening in January, and that's when it unfortunately needs to be a total tear-down from top to bottom.

True. And the Johnsons don't like paying anyone who isn't working. But Rodgers isn't getting any younger and this is a win right f___in' now team. You're probably correct, but should dump his ass right now.

The OL is not a wreck. It’s also made up of 3 young draft picks 2 of which generally perform on the high end of their position. The only old dudes are backed up by a good prospect. None of them break the cap and all can be re-signed and we’d have cap room next season. Next year we return 4 of the top 6 guys without a dollar more of commitment. The offense sucks because they have a nothing coordinator and a HC that established long ago that he’s scared of any kind of risk taking.

The talent that left and “underperformed” was a UDFA edge rusher and who else? Letting talent go before they crash out else where is what people praise GMs for all the time. It happens here and it’s a negative?

Obviously the leagues approach to preseason and the beginning of the year has shifted, but the Jets are still on the extreme end of keeping things safe. It just looks like a team that hasn’t played nearly enough football. The kicker included.

I think you're the only person I've ever seen blame the kicker s*cking on the preseason.

What was the purpose of a backup kicker getting reps? Literally serves no purpose. You’re not resting a kicker or trying to prevent injuries. Zeurlein having the yips would have likely surfaced in preseason games. The overall approach to the preseason and practice is very bad and a big reason why the Jets are so penalized etc.

Once again Saleh mentioned how there were a lot of pre-snap penalties today and "that needs to get cleaned up".  We've heard this before though and it never seems to get cleaned up.

He also talked about AR8's cadence and said it wasn't an issue in pre-season.  Except AR8 didn't play in pre-season.   Maybe those practices aren't the same thing.  Btw, it also sounded like he might try to get rid of AR8's cadence tricks.  Utterly pathetic that he might neuter his QB rather than get his players to get their act together.

I can’t help but think the same thing.  Bobby’s teams always seem to be unprepared and this game was even worse because they had an extra couple of games to get ready.  I have said it before that the jets get too full of themselves.  They probably penciled in a win and now they get to go to London and play a pretty hot Vikings team.  They are staring right at 2-3 if they don’t get their collective azzes together.  And not only that, but Rodgers was injured so it’s very possible he won’t play next week.

Besides unprepared they are undisciplined.

No he isn't!  This team wouldn't be stacked with talent if it weren't for JD.  He has made mistakes that have hurt, but he has more than compensated for them.  GTFO with blaming JD for this loss.

That’s what the ******* preseason is for. You don’t clean up lining up correctly and snap counts or snapping during the season. Enough of this. Thankfully we had Will Levis and Bob Kraft foolishly firing Belichick in September. I can’t with Saleh anymore. Get him the **** out.
