DarthVitreous
It really seems like a lightbulb went off where the Jets (JD?, Woody?) all of a sudden realized that success is more closely correlated to having competent people in charge as opposed to who kisses the most ass. Hackett and Saleh are classic examples of being promoted and maintaining employment less on ability and results and more on superficial factors such as relationships and appearance. Not sure what triggered this change of heart, but I believe this team will look very different come Sunday night.

redlichtie
We’ve gone from off-season champions, to pre-season champions and now we are undefeated Monday to Sunday….can only mean a 30 point shellacking is coming down the pipe!

Rodgers has not throw for 300 yards in a game since 2021. Do you know how hard that is in this day and age? Joe Flaccid has thrown for 300 yards in each of his last 6 starts. Rodgers dink and dunk play is absolutely killing this offense. That needs to change now!
T0mShane
Heard two stats today that are crazy. 1. Breece Hall leads all RBs in getting hit behind the LOS. Suggests the offense is telegraphing Breece runs. 2. Using player tracking data, Jets running plays have an expected yards-per-carry of a measly 3.7 yards. The blocking has been bad, but the scheme is also bad. Hearkens back to Nate Tice’s point that Rodgers calling all the plays at the line has restricted the Jets run game, both from a formation perspective, but also in terms of variety of run plays because there’s obviously a limited amount of plays Rodgers can check to.

Why it took this long still is puzzling. 2

Do we really think Downing is going to create a whole bunch of new plays they haven’t practiced and it’s going to make the offense magically play great? There was so much sophomoric, contrived stuff with Saleh. IDK why he thought it would work. Nothing seemed original or authentic either.

doitny
4 hours ago, JoeNamathsFurCoat said: LOL Downing is credited for helping Derek Carr become the first Raiders quarterback to be selected to a Pro Bowl since 2002.[4] On January 20, 2015, Downing was named by Pro Football Focus as Quarterbacks Coach of the Year.[6] After coaching Raiders quarterbacks for two years, he was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2017, after the Raiders decided not to renew Bill Musgrave's contract.[4] When Downing coached Carr from 2015–16, he threw for 7,924 yards, 60 touchdowns, and 19 interceptions with two Pro Bowl appearances.[7] so what your saying is he should have been named our QBs coach
