GodWearsAGrayHoodie
Lol. Does this mean we can stop talking about VG as the biggest bust of all time? Actually this news does nothing regarding the level of either Russell or VG or Leaf's bust status. Russells level of bustness is measured by what the Raiders paid for him in terms of draft picks and $$$ as compared to what the team recieved in return. His being arrest post release does nothing to change that. VG's level of bustness can not be computed as of yet as he is tell on the team, but to date he has done less for the Jets than Russell did for Oakland or Leaf did for the Chargers, some what balancing that out the Jets didn't draft quite as high. OTOH, when looking at how much of a boneheaded move it was for the team you muct aslo look at the alternative. Oakland needed a QB if they had choosen Brady Quinn instead would that have been a better move? One of the reasons why Russell went so high was there wasn't many QBs in the draft pool. However, with Leaf the Chargers would have been better off with Griese. Comparing Leaf to Manning really isn't a fair measure for the Chargers as he was off the board. Same deal with VG, there was better LBs on the board when the Jets drafted including the DROY, Mayo.

You can have some solace that this allows another player that wants to be on an NFL roster more than anything has a better chance with this arrest. Russell doesn't deserve to play in the NFL, good riddence.
