In the interview, he says (or is misquoted as saying) that if he doesn't get drafted, he'd like to sign somewhere as an underrated free agent. Lol. He'd certainly be worth a look in that respect.

He's also earned it. He's worth a 7th round pick or FA tryout. If he does good in workouts then a higher pick.
