Revis groin Injury?

The Jets' official injury report: CB Darrelle Revis did not practice with a groin injury. Todd Bowles didn't mention Revis earlier when asked to name which players didn't practice. No word on the severity; he played a full game on Monday night. RB Chris Ivory (groin) and G Willie Colon (knee) also didn't practice.

Chris Ivory (groin, quad) did not practice Wednesday.

Ivory played through his groin issue last week, but the quad is a new injury. It's not necessarily a bad sign that he was held out, as the Jets are coming off a Monday night game and his practice reps were expected to be limited. More will be known on Ivory's status later in the week.

Costello tweeted this sensational attention grabbing tweet. What a tool.

@BrianCoz: Jets not providing any information about Revis injury. Could be nothing, could be season ending, could be career ending. We don't know. #nyj

This is the journalistic equivalent of a child holding his breath until he passes out. It is truly awe-inspiring that any of the Jets press corps are gainfully employed as writers.

Rapaport says it "does not sound too serious," btw.
