Fitz, of course, couldn't lead the Jets on that last drive. The missed PAT is an inexcusable killer, but it was his first missed PAT is 300+ attempts. The odds get everyone eventually. Our coaching staff knows what Revis is and if he is going against an Elite reciever they should give him some safety help. No reason AJ Green should have burned Revis one on one for 180 yards. Folk sucked for us his first season but has been gold for us since, We need people to stop posting because their unrealistic expectations for the team were not made after the first game of the season. Still shoulda been fine if the line does it's job and actually blocks the guy literally known for A. being freakishly tall and B. Blocking alot of kicks. The ball was thrown right to him and it was an out and out drop. Classic Marshall with a lapse of concentration at a critical moment. Revis makes $14m and is supposed to be the guy to shut down the other team's elite receivers. That Long TD where Green took him to school wasn't the only time Revis got burned. He missed a fundamental tackle on a screen to Green in the 4th and all in all, Green had 12 ******* catches today! ok, so the blocked FG wasn't Folk's fault but missing an extra point? Seriously? We could have put Revis on their number 2 and double covered Green (maybe that would have helped and maybe it wouldn't) but instead we kept trying the same thing that clearly wasn't working. When he goes up against anyone remotely young and hungry the results have not been that good since we brought him back. My guess is next season is probably his last as a Jet. Revis is still a solid corner, he's just not 25 yrs old anymore . He can shut down most 2nd banana Receivers, but the upper echelon guys who are much younger than him will give him trouble. Bowles inability to stop a swing pass makes me laugh at him being one of the best defensive minds in Football. He can't adjust to save his life. In a close game against a tough opponent, when your kicker costs you 4 points, there's no one else to blame but him. Seriously, what a friggin' disappointment. Even with all the mistakes, comes down to Marshall making that grab for a 25 yard gain. He looked a bit old today.
