Popular Post Jet_Engine1
Remember when Andrew Thomas was the best OT in this class?? LOL Could you imagine if the Jets can draft him? WOW. Between the QBs that will be overdrafted, the WR early craze, and now some OL jumping out of the gym, if the Jets leave Round 1 with a top OT, I'll be THRILLED. 5

nycdan
Alex Taylor ran very fast (5.10). He is HUGE at 6' 8 1/4" with a crazy wingspan.

HawkeyeJet
Wirfs is a genetic freak. I'm biased, but he has the highest ceiling of any OL in the draft. 1
Sarge4Tide
Wirfs and Becton will be the 1st 2 OLs off the board Talk that Wirfs projects to G might drop him

The stretch is having the 3 new starting OL to include 2 tackles. But T, WR, C and WR, G is very doable in this draft.

Popular Post T0mShane
The Jets need like two EDGE guys and two CBS to dominate the testing this weekend to push Wirfs, etc down the board. Let’s hope Chiasson and Gross-Matos drop Von Miller numbers, and lets hope some idiotic team in the top ten opts to draft a safety. 3 1

A player has at least a year to show how he plays on a football field. First you show great play. Then you show a body that shows you are serious and did not play against weak competition . If I were GM, I would not pick Becton at 11 just because he Mamula'd the Combine when he was not finishing his blocks and falling down when he actually put on a uniform and played football. Becton will get picked high, likely before 16. But if my pick is 11 I am picking someone who is already great at football. Now Wirfs, who already played great football, is going top 10, if not 5. 1
Tony The Wiz
I have been preaching Wirfs for months and he is proving me right. He is the real thing. Never forget what he did to USC in the Bowl Game.
jetsons
I still prefer Wirfs as my #1 ... something about top wrestlers, they have great body control / leverage / balance... the only knock on him that I've heard (if you consider it a knock) is that he doesn't have a mean streak... I don't necessarily think that's a detriment but it would be nice if he can learn to be that way on the field.... Thomas is my #2.
