TokyoJetsFan
DENVER — The Denver Broncos and the Walton-Penner family ownership group, spearheaded by Walmart heir Rob Walton, have entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire the team, the Broncos announced in a tweet Tuesday night. Details of the purchase were not immediately available. Sources told Broncos Insider Troy Renck that the price is north of $4.6 billion, crushing the current record paid for an American sports franchise at $3.3 billion for the Brooklyn Nets, which involved real estate. The Panthers own the NFL record, sold for $2.275 billion to David Tepper.

Butterfield
People are always quick to tell you that interest in the league is fading, but the sale prices for teams sure doesn’t reflect that.

Can't wait till stores get their customers to stock shelves and truck in the merchandise and then tell them how convenient it is for them to do so.

Unfortunately for the businesses that have them I have not been trained properly and I occasionally miss an item or 2. It takes me about 3 minutes to check myself out and those items usually add up to $15 or $20. I figure that it's my pay for working for them. So it all works out. If they paid someone $20 an hour to check me out, they would probably make out better, but who am I to say.

adb280z
It's amazing that a guy can basically never actually work in his life and have enough money to buy a football team for $4.6 billion. His work history: Quote After graduation, Walton became a member of the law firm that represented Walmart, Conner & Winters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.[1] In 1978, he left Tulsa to join Walmart as a senior vice president,[1] and in 1982, he was appointed vice chairman.[9] He was named chairman of the board of directors on April 7, 1992, two days after his father's death
