I’m trying to stay positive but I’ve never seen a fan base attack it’s most important player so much. For zero reason. For a kid by ALL accounts is working his ass off and has shown immense year over year progress. I think I’m giving myself a time out - team in a 3 game winning streak and this is what we get. Jets fans are rightfully skeptical because we have been burned so many times by these young QBs. Its the same old song QB gets drafted, QB struggles, people say we need to be patient, Jets move on after 3-4 seasons. Define immense. I know you’re going to give some dig deeper stuff, but immense progress is not remotely evident in the numbers. Especially when you consider the surrounding talent is substantially better. You're right, he’s the team’s most important player. So everyone is going to be invested in seeing how he does, and he’s going to be under the microscope for that reason. He’s averaging a meaningfully higher YPA, like 10 more yards a game, a .4% higher completion percentage, has a negative TD-INT ratio, and he’s taking less sacks. I’ll absolutely call that progress. Immense? Think that’s hyperbolic. The love everything Wilson does group takes things too far just like the critical group does. A couple posters sit on the fence but the defined sides are so exaggerated that reasonable comments get taken the wrong way.
