Aaron Rodgers to the Jets rumor: Merged

As long as he is as good as the 2020 and 2021 Aaron Rodgers, I'll take it. I mean, it's not 2014, but he wasn't terrible those seasons.

We'll be ok... just pointing out that his name is writing checks his play likely can't cash 24/7. He just got high for two weeks. Calibrate expectations.

They don’t. But

I tried telling him. Chances are ARod will not be a Packer but it’s still a possibility. What leverage do the Packers have? If he comes out and says I want to play on 2023 but not for the Jets, then he will 100% be a packer.

Wisconsin media is flipping out over the comments of the president. Agreeing that what he said totally killed their leverage, if they had any. If Rodgers heard the interviews, he has to realize now he has only two options. If he wants to play, it’s for the Jets and some are even hinting that Rodgers could even demand to be released and sign with any team post June 1 for no compensation. That’s where we are.

We will see by the trade compensation.  If it is more than like a 3rd and 4th douglas has been hoodwinked, seeing at the scenario we are looking at.

Earlier, when Rodgers trade talks first started, you were saying Jets will have to give up #13 and next years 2nd that could become a 1st. Trashing JD, Saleh and WJ.

Now you’re backtracking and saying even a 3rd or 4th is too much because it’s looking more likely everyday that JD is going to win this trade big time and you’ll be eating crow for 2 seasons. Each day that passes, Jets leverage goes up, especially with Rodgers looking for a measure of revenge.

Lol, a post June 1 cut would cost them a total of $75.3 million against the cap. Among other reasons I’d say thats, uh, pretty unlikely.
