Which friends/players will Aaron Rodgers target this offseason?

Rodgers will undoubtedly like to play with as many of his friends as possible again next season.  Randall Cobb was signed on a one-year deal but Rodgers could always bring him back to "prove the doubters wrong", but who else would be an option?

WR: DeVante Adams (trade)

OT: David Bakhtiari (trade)

RB: AJ Dillon (FA)

WR: Randall Cobb (FA)

OT: Yosh Nijman (FA)

Part of me thinks that the Jets may actually grow a pair and tell AR8 no more cronies.   But:

  • DVA would be great, but likely cost ($ and picks) prohibitive.
  • Bakhtiari is beaten up and would have to play very cheap, if at all.
  • Dillon we really don't need.
  • I don't think Cobb makes the cut a year later than finished.
  • The Jets should be looking at any and all OTs, since we are losing three of them this year (Becton, Brown and Turner are gone).

Douglas will double down on his stupidity to bring in Baktiari.

Adams is not coming here, vegas is not giving him away for a middling pick.

Every team knows the Jets want to win it all next year .    If Raiders trade Devante Adams it’s not going to be cheap.  They are looking for jets high first round draft pick and a front line defensive starter .      The Jets are desperate enough to do that.    If not the Raiders are content to keep him .    Who they hire as Hc, and Gm will also play a big role in what they do too.

Raiders are tanking next year. They’ll be dumping salary at record levels this offseason.

No they aren’t.    They have all the pieces and draft and fa to fix the rest of the holes.    These last five games is all figuring out if Adrian O’Connell  is the guy next year, or they are drafting a new guy at Qb.       So far like how he has progressed each week .    Has to go through those rookie learning curve.

Aaron Jones is his dude, and the guys been falling apart physically all season. So, he’d be a perfect JD acquisition.

Maybe huff straight up because we drafted Mcdonald is the play. Dont think id want that but a straight up trade should get it done because of age davante will be 32.

I'd rather AR picks FA that JD

I know lots people want to talk about how Jets got saddled with AR friends this year and luv to throw that list around but why not try a list of JD's hmmmm?

Jets have a hard on to pair Davante with Rodgers again. Next year will be more feasible and I believe it will get done.

Stick that trade where the sun don’t shine.  No way any Gm would do that, other than JD 😩

Let’s see it’s not Joe Douglas call  . It’s going to be Woody Johnson making that call.   He invested too much in A Rodgers , not to do everything to make him happy.   They are going all in on 2024 , damn 2025 and beyond.

Huff is an unrestricted Fa - Jets are not tagging him .  Too much money already invested in their defense line.     Any team that has cash can get him.       Again it going to cost you high first round pick , and a defensive front line starter .   Jets don’t pay that price they aren’t getting D Adams . Raiders are keeping him.     Woody Johnson giving J Douglas order - get D Adams at all cost. ( what A Rodgers wants).   Can Jets muster an offense line because if they can they become the favorites to win it all in 2024/.

I’ve said this before, but I just want to go on record again: Jayden Daniels is going to fall to us, and we’re going to trade out of the pick so we can take whatever OT Rodgers thinks will be most fun to smoke weed with

I do think Daniels will be the best of the bunch. And yes, we’ll pass on him because…Jets.
(Caleb will bust btw)
