Rodgers is the de facto GM. He's calling the shots, for good or bad May be not running the draft, but expect Davonte Adams and David Bukatari will be Jets by summer.

Bakhtiari tried to dictate to the Packers that he wouldn’t play on turf and they turned around and IR’ed him to be done with his malingering nonsense. He’s specifically tweeted that the MetLife turf is a career killer. If this stupid Jets team starts chasing Bakhtiari around this offseason, they’ll deserve every loss that comes with it

There is, but they won't.  They can't.  In fact, they shouldn't.  As soon as they drafted McDonald the ship sailed on Huff.

Every available penny needs to go to offense...

Man, I hope they do, it would be incredibly Jetsy of them to let a player like him walk.

Oh Saleh, you should have challenged that spot.  His knee never hit the ground.  We need better and quicker booth analysis.

Pretty clear like Rex Ryan and unlike Bill Belichick, Bobby Salad doesn't have a trusted coach in the box to let him know when there's a good chance to overturn a play with a review. He's watching the jumobtron like a drunk in section 325 and reacting emotionally. Another reason he's a bad head coach. He calls plays, but has no feel for the game or strategy.

You keep saying Rodgers will get injured. You know what limits that from happening? Having a good offensive line. Draft a back up qb in rd 1 and the likelihood increases significantly. The goal is to keep Rodgers healthy, not to get him injured so the team has to plug in the back up.

He’s going to get hurt anyway b/c he’s old.  That’s the problem.

This team needs qbs.  Rodgers won’t play more than 10 games next year.  This isn’t about clients and sales calls.  This team needs to score points with and without rodgers.  The guy who saves douglas’ job is mccarthy, not a tackle.  That said I’d be surprised if they don’t take a tackle.  But simian as the backup next season if the jets are in contention and rodgers has to miss 2 games with an injury isn’t cutting it.

And Zach will be gone next year, we officially have a clear as day need at back up qb. You don’t think they’ll be one of the most aggressive teams in the offseason when it comes to pursuing the qb2?

An old feeble tackle protecting an old feeble qb.  They get what they deserve if that’s what they do.

We will, i agree.  But nobody is coming here b/c 1) they won’t compete for the starting job, and 2) the following season they’re cleaning house and drafting another qb anyway.  This team is a graveyard for qbs.

Yup, but we know it's gonna happen. Suspect had Rodgers not gotten hurt that malingering would have led to Florham Park.

At a loss how the NFL office and NFLPA are not up in arms about this turf. How many more injuries before they demand it be fixed? Spending a lot of money on salaries for guys who are hurt because of it.

Remember when Ron Rivera used to be the most aggressive coach in the NFL?

4th & 3 at the 46 down 17 in a lost season and he punts.  When did he become Todd Bowles?

If I remember right, he was never aggressive. The year that people starting calling him “Riverbaot Ron” in Carolina, he went for it once in a bizarre situation and that nickname stuck.

But I don’t think his percentage of going for it was ever high.

Are the smooth brains here really expecting the Jets to bench Sauce, GW, JJ and Hall the rest of this game and season?

Do any of you guys actually watch sports?

The problem with tanking. How do you tell productive  athletes not to play? Or not try?

You have been saying over and over again that Rodgers will get injured. Wouldn’t this be a good landing spot for a back up qb? Based on what you’re saying, the back up will 100% get a chance to start.
