Just throwing it out there, Lamar....

Recommended Posts

Lamar never would have had a shot with the Jets. The man is a stud who would have been chased out of here in fitheteen minutes.

Think about it. Not that we've had a Lamar , but would we have ever known???

I dunno point of this thread. Lamar was never actually available and was never going to be a New York Jet.

Yes true however if he was a Jet would he survive a bad game here?

are you drinking today? he's only 27 so aging isn't an issue yet, but he has already had a few of injuries including a knee injury that kept him out of games down the stretch last season including a playoff game. He's been healthy this season, but it's still an issue moving forward.

We’ve hung on to Zach for 2-3 years, same with Darnold.  Why would you say that?

He was never on the table to come to the Jets. The only purpose for seeking a trade was to establish how much the Ravens were going to pay him.  It's moot.  And it NEVER was relevant in the first place.

The Jets were never getting Lamar Jackson. Nor was any other team.

The dude was also 1-3 in the playoffs prior to today and had finished the previous two seasons on IR.

Do Jets fans just genuinely enjoy punching themselves in the balls for no reason?

If the Jets would have drafted Lamar, Adam Gase would have told him to stop running the ball early in his career. They would have made a pocket passer out of him and had him fail.

If you're featuring Frank Gore, who could blame him?

If you're talking drafted, I can see that. He was fortunate to get drafted to the Ravens, and the type of player he is would not do well on the Jets as a rookie.

Now? He's a developed player. Yea, on the Ravens he's definitely better, but he would have made a sizable difference on the Jets.

Now that it matters. He was never leaving the Ravens.

Oh, because our CS sucks, GM sucks and Owner sucks coupled with the paper Mache OL. Yep, correct.

Look at all the playoff QBs injury history. It's not just Lamar.

Maybe but I think the better choice from that draft class was Allen.

^^^ this guy gets it. A Jets trademark is to alpha omega. For 20 years now it’s been a jets tradition since herm told Shaun Ellis to “get fat and be my new Warren sapp” moved him to DT and it failed miserably.

Morrisey literally takes everything literally. He’s like drax the destroyer on guardians of the galaxy. You have to write it out on a placard for him.
