ScarletKnight89
Have the Jets neglected the O-Line though? Becton (1st round) AVT (1st round), and Tippman (2nd round) They just haven't always picked the right players. Becton over Wirfs was such a mistake. 1
GreenFish
JD has invested premium assets on the OL. Those decisions have largely been wrong. Becton - 1st round pick - bust AVT - 1st round pick - very good but injured Laken - Big contract - bust Tippmann - 2nd round pick - TBD He’s also signed stop gap veterans like Fant, Moses and McGovern. He hasn't made good decisions. 1
Ex-Rex
I don't see that JD has 'neglected' the OL but he certainly hasn't fixed it either. Whether it is injury or ineptitude (Becton) he has to hit on one this year. 1

Fant and Moses were starting for Houston and Baltimore respectively. Also Van Roten is in Detroit and Kelvin Beachum starts in Arizona. JD neglected the oline so badly this year that it got our star qb injured in 4 plays and made the offense virtually unplayable with how bad they were. breece hall was avergind 0 yds before contact. thata abysmal. JD's handling of the oline alone should have gotten him fired, but woody is a moron

drsamuel84
To me, this most concerning part is how some key players on this team are often speaking out on twitter and continue to think it's ok. Really makes me question the leadership of this coaching staff and the respect level the team has. My only hope is the respect Rodgers brings to the building will clean some of this up because it's obviously not coming from the coaching staff.

Look at a team like the Steelers medical squad. But I'm sure the GENERAL MANAGER isn't responsible for such things. Safe to say since Sal tripped that player our medical staff has blown donkey balls. Drafting Mekhi Becton over Tristan Wirfs, signing Laken Tomlinson to a $40 million contract in order to be the worst guard in the division, and getting squeezed by the Packers (despite having all the leverage) to swap 2023 first round draft picks as part of the Rodgers trade, and subsequently getting outfoxed to miss out on Broderick Jones.... those are among the OL blunders that are JDDDDDD's fault. 2 1
