    • I was tempted to just respond to the bolded part above and requote my original post below and say "Ok, so we agree".  Buttttt this is fun, so here we go: So, now that it might help your argument for just the first 6 years, SB losses are now a detriment to the GOAT argument? Cuz till Mahomes lost one, the masshole argument was always that just getting to an SB was an accomplishment regardless of win or loss, and that it only serves to enhances the GOAT legacy.  Re: Coaching - Reid had 0 championships prior to Mahomes over like 15 years and many QBs. Now that Mahomes has elevated Reid to new heights, Reid is now the GOAT and Belichick is just another no-named Parcells bitch? Cmon. I'm not looking it up right now, but I'm pretty sure that Parcells has a grand total of 1 playoff appearance and maybe 1 playoff win in his entire career without Belichick as his DC. Meanwhile Belichick spearheaded the two Giants SBs with his defenses, and then did the same thing for Brady's first three SBs. Ask Teddy Bruschi. Brady was a middle of the pack game manager who was along for the ride and got to play "clutch" because Weiss was calling plays knowing what the opposing defenses were doing.  Lastly, I do love some mental gymnastics. Lemme give it a shot: Peyton was drafted to a team with a scrub coach that only won 3 games before he got there. His Colts tenure was fraught with bad coaching, going through three different head coaches in 11 years, and when Peyton had to miss 2011 with a neck injury, the Colts only won 2 games! Conversely, Brady was drafted to a team led by a two time SB winning coach. They had won 8 games prior to Brady's arrival, and through strong and consistent coaching, won three super bowls in 4 years driven by elite defenses and strong special teams. The coach was so good that even when Brady had to miss '08 with injury, the team went on to win 11 games that year! Therefore, Peyton >>> Brady!!!!!!!!!
    • Sounds like a poster I know haha.
    • He had 27 catches and 300 yards, they won't get a 2nd rounder if they trade him.
