Desperate Patriots cheating conspiracy video surfaces

“Patriots Cheaters 2019”

Nods head excitedly

A Patriots cheating conspiracy surfaced on YouTube this week with an unequivocal title, but it appears to lack the supporting evidence of Spygate and Deflategate.

The video, which was promoted by Dallas radio host R.J. Choppy, comes from the second quarter of New England’s 13-9 victory over the Cowboys on Sunday. It shows the officials moving the first-down marker from the Patriots’ 5-yard-line to the 4 in between first and second down, seemingly adding a yard to the Cowboys’ yards to gain.

But, as Yahoo! Sports points out, the issue seems to be with the initial ball placement being put at the 15-yard-line, instead of the 14, after a roughing the passer penalty came on the same play as a Michael Gallup catch.

The play-by-play had Gallup being tackled at the 29, which should have brought the ball up to the 14 after the 15-yard penalty. The drive ended with the Cowboys kicking a field goal on fourth-and-5.

At worst, it appears this was more the referees making a mistake — no shocker there — than a widespread conspiracy involving the Patriots.

It comes after Twitter fingers were being pointed toward New England after a man was spotted on a roof watching Cowboys practice in last week’s leadup to the game.

So, apologies to Jason Garrett, this is unlikely to save your job.

Nothing here, but the trip-gate stuff might have legs (see what I did there!).  Lots of speculation that BB submitted tape of what he considers tripping by the Cowboys before the game.  The refs then call two tripping penalties on the Cowboys, both of which the league subsequently admitted were bad calls and both of which directly impacted the score of what turned out to be a close game.

What I'd like to know is did BB send the tape directly to the game officials?  And how much cash was included in the package?  Because that is the kind of stuff that people should be fired over but the league just keeps on keeping on with this.  You would think the NFCCG would have been embarrassing enough for them to get their officiating house in order, but apparently not.  This year has been even worse than last year.

I guarantee the Patriots are cheating somehow someway - cause thats what they do! Yes I would also say somehow they got the refs to call them tripping penalties at inopportune times for the Cowgirls. This one yard stick move is nothing compared to their Large Network of Cheating Accomplishes and the numerous ways they cheat and cover up their cheating ways.

Patriots cheating conspiracy surfaced on YouTube this week with an unequivocal title, but it appears to lack the supporting evidence of Spygate and Deflategate.

The play-by-play had Gallup being tackled at the 29, which should have brought the ball half the distance to the goalline and somewhere between the Patriots’ 14 and 15.

It’s like when you find an ant in your house. Where there is one, there are many more... somewhere.

For every time they are caught there are at least a dozen ways we don’t know about. They’ve weighed the cost of getting caught with the advantage conferred by all their cheats in the aggregate and have decided—logically so—that it is worth it.

Agreed.  Plus the punishment has never been severe enough for them to lose any ground.  Brady got a couple games, they lost a late first round pick big deal.

Exactly. The NFL really needs a repeat offender enhancer. The repeated wrist slaps are clearly not having a deterrent effect. The only way to make them stop is if the punishment takes away more of an advantage than the cheats in the aggregate confer.

Fining a billionaire is a joke. Next offense, remove some salary cap for a couple years.

The Patriots lost a 1st rounder and a couple millions dollars for the right to cheat their way to 6 Super Bowl wins.  Where do I sign for that trade, biggest heist in history.

I hope it breaks the League when Patriots sign Brady to a lifetime personal services contract after he retires to make up for the years of bogus below-market salary.

We all know it's coming.

Can’t wait for Brady and Belichick to retire.

I cant wait for the scumbags that Kraft eventually locks out of the organization... to open their mouths.  It will be like the Watergate plumbers getting on radio shows.  That always happens.  Any evil sh*tty nefarious thing people do comes out.  Doesn't matter how many PI's they employ or news stories they kill.  When BB retires and the Pats influence wanes...  the rest of the league will wise up.
