Since no one is scoring the draft perhaps each person who participated in it should cast a vote for who had the best draft just one vote and you cannot vote for yourself

I thought the Jets actually had a really good draft. Ruggs, Cleveland, Lewis, Hennessy and Davis is a damn solid top 5 picks! good job @IndianaJet

@samSamhesourman  and the niners did well.

Dolphins had a good draft @King P

@Beerfish did a good job for the Bengals

@Patriot Killa and the Raiders did well with Jeudy, Terell, WIllekas annd Perine are some of my faves.

But If I had to pick one I'd say the @IndianaJet took the cake for me.  GO JETS!!!  :)

But if I had to pick one.

If the draft next week goes as smoothly as the 4 guys you mentioned, we've got nothing to worry about.?

We shoudl have forwarded Goodell our resumes, having moderated virtual NFL drafts multiple times -- here, the Hampur and on JI.  We have plenty of experience,

And for a small fee (to be shared with @Beerfish), I would even license the spreadsheet to the NFL.

I was thinking the other day, that I started my draft spreadsheet in about 2006-2007 I think.  Far before we started seeing all these great mock draft simulators.  I used to go to team web forums for all the teams in the league and provide people with the sheet who wanted it and many people were very appreciative.

What do we give for drafting guys that went undrafted?  I was cruising along pretty nicely until pick 150.  For all the people that think I trade for 7th rounders because I want to win the contest, the first two times I did it, I didn't even know there was a scoring system.  I would be much more satisfied with finding an UDFA that contributes than drafting a guy in the 7th that goes in the 4th and doesn't make it through his 2nd camp.  I am the area scout pounding on the table for a small school CB that I think can be a starter in the 7th round.

For the record, my Seahawks draft:

@27 I overdrafted Gross-Matos who went at 38 (-11). Then I heated up

@59 I took Claypool who went at 49 (+10)

@64 Raekwon Davis who went 56 (+8)

@101 Willie Gay Jr who went 63 (+38)

@133 Charlie Heck who went @126 (+7).  At this point I am +52, and it all fell off the rails.  At 150 I took Benito Jones who went undrafted as a high value free agent to the Dolphins.  @213 I took Madre Harper who signed with the Raiders,  @213 John Molchon who signed with the Seahawks (bonus points, my pick that went undrafted signed with my team!) and @255 I picked Chase Harrell as Mr. Irrelevant who signed with the 49ers. and I still don't know if it wil be as a DE or TE.  If I wanted to win the game I would have picked Tanner Muse who has a profile that I was sure would get him selected. He went @100 to the Raiders and it would have been +155.  Funny thing is, my best pick, Gay , is most likely to Jachai Polite himself out of the league before a game is played, but he could also be a stud.

Maybe I will do better when there are pro-days!

That woud be a tough score to beat.  I ended at +170 which I thought was pretty good:

  • Denzel Mims 59, I picked 30.  -29.
  • Justin Madubuike 71, I picked 62.  -9.
  • Robert Hunt 39.  I picked 94. +55
  • Evan Weaver 202, I picked 136. -66
  • Devin Asiasi 91, I picked 175. +84
  • Joshua Kelley. 112. I picked 185. +73
  • Rodrigo Blankenship UDFA (256).  I picked 208. -48
  • McTelvin Agim, 209. I picked 95. +114
  • Malcolm Perry 246.  I picked 242.  -4

Still pissed at @kdels62, really wanted Jordyn Brooks at 136, but he took him 9 picks earlier.  Tried to trade up for him and couldn't get it done.  Would have been about a 160 point swing had I gotten Brooks instead of Weaver at 136.

Not bad @Beerfish,  for the Browns I landed two first rounders (Wills, Aiyuk), three second rounders (Marlon, Darell and Jalen) and tremendous value with my favorite punter.  It was that damn Jake Hansen that ruined me! I would’ve been better off giving that pick away. Still beat @Lith though which is an accomplishment.
Cheers to a great draft!

10, Jedrick Wills, 10 = 0

41, Brandon Aiyuk, 25 = 16

74, Marlon Davidson, 47 = 27

97, Darrell Taylor, 48 = 49

115, Jalen Hurts, 53 = 62

187, Jake Hansen, 208 = -21

244, Braden Mann, 191 = 53

—————

Total: +186

(+207 without Hansen)

21, Tee Higgins, 33 = -12

53, Curtis Weaver, 164 = -111

103, Van Jefferson, 57 = 46

127, Jordyn Brooks, 27= 100

145, Jack Driscoll, 145 = 0 perfect pick

146, K’von Wallace, 127 = 19 correct team

168, Casey Toohill, 233= -65 correct team

190, Davion Taylor, 103 = 87 correct team

Total: +64

I only ended up with a +64 (Curtis Weaver sunk me). But I got 4 players for the Eagles that they actually drafted including a perfect pick on Jack Driscoll in the fourth.

Never went back to check How I did. I finished with the same score as you Lith. +170
If it weren’t for my -59 for Texas A&M wide receiver Quartney Davis, who went undrafted, I would’ve gotten close to @Beerfish +214.

*    Jonathon Taylor = 41; I picked 43.  +2.                                                                                              I
*    Michael Ojemudia = 77; I picked 77. +63

*    Raquan Williams = 56; I picked 163. +107

*    Quartney Davis = UDFA; I picked 196 . -59

*    D.J. Wonnum = 123; I picked 200. + 77

*    Cole McDonald = 224; I picked 226. +2

*    Take Crowder = 255; I picked 233. -22

Good fun and a big thanks to both of you. I’m curious how participation was compared to past non-pandemic drafts? Were there fewer number of missed picks with the lockdown compared to other years?

My draft is looking really good overall after half a season.

Burrow has been as advertised.

Josh Jones is a backup so nothing special there.

Pittman after being hurt is producing in Indy.

Okueegbunma is looking good in denver (I really wanted the jets to draft this guy)

Antonio Gibson is looks like a budding star for washington

Tyre Phillips was starting before getting hurt.

L'Jaroius Sneed was starting before getting hurt.
