The performance of Chad Hansen has been one of the stories of Houston Texans camp. The Fillmore native and former Moorpark High star "has caught nearly everything thrown his way and the work he did with Deshaun Watson this offseason seems to be paying off," per

Hard not to cheer this guy on, whatever team he can make.  From Wiki:

New York Jets

Hansen was drafted by the New York Jets in the fourth round (141st overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.[9][10][11]

On September 1, 2018, Hansen was waived by the Jets.[12]

New England Patriots

On September 2, 2018, Hansen was claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots.[13] He was waived on September 10, 2018.[14]

Tennessee Titans

On October 2, 2018, Hansen was signed to the Tennessee Titans' practice squad.[15] He was released on October 15, 2018.[16]

Denver Broncos

On November 13, 2018, Hansen was signed to the Denver Broncos practice squad.[17] On January 2, 2019, Hansen was re-signed to reserve/future contract.[18] On May 2, 2019, the Broncos waived Hansen.[19]

New Orleans Saints

On June 11, 2019, Hansen was signed by the New Orleans Saints.[20] He was waived on July 25, 2019.[21]

Houston Texans

On July 26, 2019, Hansen was claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans.[22] The Texans waived him on August 31 during final roster cuts.[23] On September 25, 2019, Hansen was signed to the practice squad.[24] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans on January 13, 2020.[25]

He's turning into the Josh McCown of wide receivers.

He was a better pick than Ardarius Stewart, at least. Hansen always had some talent, but was very raw and in need of polish.

And this has just reminded me, again, how much I was screaming for Chris Godwin in round 3 before the Jets picked Stewart, who ran like a guy with two broken legs.

Pro Bowl receiver Chris Godwin, entering his 4th season, is 24 - the same age that Stewart was when Macc drafted him over Godwin.

Thanks again, Macc.

Macc's failings at WR in that 2017 class were worse than Idzik's failings at WR in the 2014 draft.
