Popular Post doitny
ok lets see what we have here... The Athletic spoke to 30 sources in and around the organization, some of whom were granted anonymity to speak freely about the inner workings of the team without reprisal who gave them permission to talk to the Athletic without getting in trouble? Nathaniel Hackett, failed to adjust after losing his quarterback and didn’t put them in positions to succeed. we knew this. Fifteen years later, when Rodgers became available, Johnson was starstruck — again. To woo the four-time All-Pro, the owner approved the hiring of Hackett. again we knew this. Rodgers isn’t the assistant GM,” one AFC general manager said. “Joe Douglas is the assistant GM.” surprised?? not me. Over the summer, Rodgers collaborated with Hackett to construct the offense — Saleh, as usual, was hands-off on that side of the ball. That’s what Aaron wants” was a common refrain from Hackett as he told coaches what plays he wanted to run during camp. i wont even put up the Hackett stuff because we all know he sucks. the Giants don’t get as much negative coverage as the Jets, true Publicly, Saleh avoided criticizing Zach Wilson or even acknowledging his struggles. Privately, the coach pinned many of the team’s offensive issues on Wilson, the line and the receivers and told people getting to eight wins with Wilson at quarterback would be a “miracle.” ok He wanted to see how teams led by the NFL’s best coaches performed when playing without their star quarterback. He found that Bill Belichick, Mike McCarthy, John Harbaugh, Zac Taylor, Mike McDaniel, Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay all had losing records in those situations — and that Mike Tomlin was the lone exception. they got that from Joe Benignos radio show. sorry but i dont see any smoking guns here. in fact they could have got all this info right here on JN. 4

rex-n-effect
54 minutes ago, T0mShane said: Didn’t Saleh read that list at a presser this year? Wild in retrospect, especially considering they were still trying to pretend Zach was good. Benigno went on Tiki's show and said he got a text from Saleh mid-year listing all those coaches and then named several out of the text. It's one thing to think Benigno was making up texts from Saleh but another to think Benigno spent time researching a made up text. I don't think Saleh ever denied sending those texts.

They went out of their way to paint Robert Saleh, Aaron Rodgers, and Nathanial Hackett in a negative light. The same people who attacked them after they wrote the fabricated Zach Wilson/Aaron Rodgers story. They added a lot of unnecessary fluff to make the team appear much more dysfunctional than it actually is, they doubled down on previous reporting that is flatly not true, and essentially used the article as an opportunity to try and drive a wedge within the building and in the locker room. I'd say 70% of the article is true and obvious- its a collection of confirmation on other reports and words that have come straight from Saleh and other players/coaches in press conference availability. 15% are total exaggerations/character assassinations. 15% flat out false Do they deserve a positive light ? Mogglez
Surely Dianna Russini and Zack Rosenblatt would neverrrrrrr do that riiiight? The reason I think ZW will have trade value is that multiple teams will want him and will end up bidding against each other. While people on here think ZW stinks, I'm sure NFL GMs and talent evaluators still see the things that got him drafted #2 overall. Plus they all know that the Jets are a sh-t organization with a terrible OL, only 1 NFL caliber WR and an embarrassingly bad HC/OC. 1 1

They’ve been compiling this information for months and 2. They had to wait a few weeks after the season to release it because everything had to be vetted. He went on to say they had a pile of other sh*t they could have added, but it didn’t have enough corroboration to take to press. I’m sure a lot of what they compiled was from frustrated assistants and players, so there’s clear bias, but nothing in it is so salacious as to seem untrustworthy on its face. Zach stinks, the coach resents him, Rodgers is parachuting in every Thursday to wave his magic wand, Hackett got overwhelmed, and Woody is a menace. All seems to check out.

I have EXPLICITLY said 1,000 times that I don’t share things to make a career out of it. I share it because I happen to have gotten extremely lucky to have access to things behind the scenes, have been posting amongst the people on this forum since 2007, so I know those people/this community would appreciate hearing something from inside the building every now and then. For the last time: I don’t have a career in football, the media, or anything of that ilk, nor do I want one. Ever. But hey, I’ll do you a solid since you “like me.” (you certainly have an odd way of showing it.) I’ll tone it down. Entirely. I’m not doing this song and dance every single time I share something. It’s absolutely exhausting having to defend myself when I try to share tidbits. I’ve been down this road before. Typically, I would just respond to DMs only, blow off steam, get fascinated when I get a text with something new, and go back to sharing on the main board, but this response really did a great job of pissing me off because it was a back-handed slap across the face from someone I never expected it to come from so, for the foreseeable future, I’m just going to keep it to myself. I come here to have fun and talk football. I used to think that passing along what I hear makes doing so more enjoyable and sparks far better on-topic conversation(s), but all it seems to do nowadays is interfere with the enjoyment of it all when someone gets sour grapes over something I said. Too many disagreements end with people coming at my throat with accusations that I’m trying to be something that I’m not, nor is it anything that I want to be, so I’m done. Rest assured, you won’t have to “gag” or “roll your eyes” anymore. Now all I ask is that you do me a solid: put me on ignore and don’t respond to any more of my posts because I’ll be doing the same for you. 3 1 1
