Popular Post JetFreak89
ESPECIALLY early in the season. Every team is fresh with limited injuries and high hopes. Teams are supposed to blow out the "worse" teams right? Tell that to the: 49ers Cowboys Ravens Colts Jaguars Rams Texans (almost) Chiefs (almost) Enjoy the wins, let teams start building up game tapes to dissect and see which teams start getting hit by the injury bug (hopefully we keep it just at JJ). It's a LOOOOONG season! 7

Popular Post jetstream23
Much happier being 1-1 than 0-2 like the Rams, Bengals, and Ravens. 6

Beerfish
An issue with the jets though is under saleh they get blown out often by teams who are known to be better but we barely scrape by teams who we should be much better than. There are certainly no easy wins under robert saleh 3

Biggs
We lost to a highly over rated 49ers team after Saleh ran the toughest training camp in Jets history.

JetsFanatic
There are no easy wins in the NFL, especially on the road. 1-1 is a good start for the Jets that hopefully they can build on.
Sonny Werblin
I saw a bunch of teams have easy wins vs the Jets the past few seasons.
Warfish
Sounds like someone trying to convince themselves the team isn’t actually as meh as it’s looked so far. 2

If it wasn’t for that backwards flip by titans idiot qb we’d be talking 0-2. They were steam rolling the vaunted jets defense up until that play and we’re going in for another td. 1
kmnj
this is a feeble attempt to post a rosy picture of the jets there have been plenty of easy wins this season just this past week Bills, Cardinals, Chargers. Saints the good thing for the Jets is if they play better they should be able to snag a wild card at 9 wins
ChuckkieB
The problem is that Saleh gets outcoached every week and his team continues to be undisciplined with boneheaded penalties in crucial spots. That's all coaching and preparation imo and the Jets have been putrid under Saleh.
JoeNamathsFurCoat
They have a lot to work on. The difference is there has been tangible evidence of Zac Taylor’s teams digging themselves out of holes and their team getting stronger as the season goes on. Saleh’s track record has been choke jobs in pivotal games and total collapse down the stretch. Having a real QB in Aaron will help hide / mitigate some of Coach Bobby’s uselessness but doubt it will be enough to overcome all of it. It's a LOOOOONG season! right. by game four teams usually come into their own. i think the only team that looks ready to play are the bills but they've been prone to starting hot and then falling off mid season. JetsFlyer
that long TD against Sauce and the safety was a huge swing play . part lucky and part unacceptable. was it clark who whiffed on it? subtract that and the 2nd half looks much better. were still now where near we need to be though

These are still like pre-season games because they all have to get used to tackling, different defenses, timing, etc. No team is where they will be next month, let alone December. The teams that usually play better have been on the field together longer. Our team has a lot of different players that need some time to gel.
thebuzzardman
Doubly so if Saleh is your head coach and Hackett is your non-offenisive coordinator
